Emma's POV

"You haven't eaten much of your food."

"Why do you care?"

"I don't know love."

We went back to silence once again. I stared at my tray of food, loaded with nutritional food. Then I looked at Hooks, who's definitely didn't look like mine.

"Look, just eat your food. You'll starve." I looked up from the ground and noticed him staring at me so intently.

"Oh screw it." I grunted, standing up and flipping my tray. The food flew off and landed all over the cell. I slammed the tray onto my knee, breaking it in half. I used a piece that had fallen off to start picking the lock.

"What the bloody hell do you think you're doing!" Hook yelled at me, standing up and rushing up to the bars, gripping them so hard his knuckles turned white.

"I'm getting out of here." I said, struggling to unpick the lock. "If you'd be quiet and let me listen to the tumblers, this whole situation would be a whole lot easier." I leaned closer to the door, almost pressing my ear against the lock.

Click. Click.

"Damnit. I dropped it." I felt the tumblers fall. I took the pick out and took a deep breathe.

"Don't hurt yourself there, love." He chuckled. It infuriated me even further, pushing me to defy him.

"I won't." I growled, quickly putting the pick back in the lock, instantly finding the first two tumblers.

Click. Click. Click. Click.

The lock fell open and it dropped to the ground. I internally celebrated as I pushed my door open.

"Part one, done. Now I just need to break these cuffs." I searched for the pick I just had but it had practically disappeared into the dirt. "God damnit!" I yelled.

"Are you trying to get us both executed!" Hook yelled at me after so long of silence. "I don't fancy being an accomplice to your attempted escape. I value my life!"

"Oh shut up!" I groaned. "You've done this every day that we've been here!" I threw my hands up in exasperation. I stepped closer to his cell. "You can't just let me get on with it, you have to jump in and try to 'save' me! Just-"

"Swan!" He cut me off. "Will you just close your mouth for a damn minute!" He yelled, staring into my eyes. "I just want to protect you! I can't explain it but everything in me wants to stop you from getting hurt. I've got no damn idea, but I want to protect you!"

"But you don't know a thing about me!" I said as I took a couple more steps closer to him. It went silent again. "We've probably attracted the attention of every guard and royal in the castle. Maybe we should be quiet."

"Maybe we could talk more?" Was Captain Hook insecure? Was the terrifying Killian jones having trouble communicating with a woman?

"Well, seeing as I'm out of my cell-"

I couldn't get any more words out. Because his lips were on mine. And it was incredible.

My head throbbed and a gust of wind blew over us. My entire life hit me like a tonne of bricks, shattering everything I thought was the truth.

Killian.

I pulled away and stared at him for a minute, waiting for the rest of my memories to come back.

My parents. Henry.

"Swan." He said softly. I hadn't noticed my eyes had trailed down to the floor.

"Killian!" I pulled at my chains and they shattered, falling off my wrists. I felt my magic return to me, my veins no longer held that dragging, aching feeling that drained my energy.

I used my magic to open the cell door and in an instant Killian ran to me, scooping me up in his arms and spinning us around. His laughter filled the air around us and mine soon joined.

"I bloody love you, Emma Swan." He chuckled, bringing the spinning to a stop. He slowly placed me back on the ground, our eyes still locked with the others.

"I love you, Killian Jones." A huge grin spread across my face as did his. I cupped his face with my hands, savouring this intimate moment before the inevitable interruption.

"I thought I'd never see you again." I whimpered, tears pooling at my water line.

"Aye, love, me too." I pulled him in once more for a kiss, wrapping my arms around his neck as his snaked around my body, holding me so tightly I thought I might shatter.

But it didn't matter. Because I had him.

Just as I tried to deepen our kiss, the doors to the dungeon swung open and a herd of people rushed in.

"Emma!" I turned around my saw my parents speeding towards me with open arms. I let go of Killian and spun around, being greeted my the arms of my dad.

"Emma." It was only a whisper, barely audible. But it was there, and I knew what it meant. He never thought he'd see me again, he thought I was lost forever. And in this moment all his fears dissipated.

"Dad." I pulled back slightly, just enough to see my mom. "Mom." I smiled at them, wrapping my arms around them again and allowing myself to be surrounded.

"Mom!" My head snapped in the direction. It was Henry. I let go of my parents and ran towards my son, wasting no time in pulling him into an embrace.

"I missed you kid."

"Well, you guys broke the curse sooner than we expected." Regina laughed as she walked through the door, hand in hand with Robin.

"Love is the most powerful magic of all!" My parents replied in sync - looking practically rehearsed.

"Now that you guys are back, there's something we need to talk about." My mom sighed, the happiness practically draining from her.

"You're not pregnant again, are you?" I laughed.

"Regina has spelled a room so nobody can listen in. We should go there, to talk in private." My dad said, himself too drained of happiness.

"We'll take Henry to the stables while you guys talk." Regina said, starting to take our son out of the dirty dungeon while hand in hand with Robin.

"No, I want to stay." Henry huffed, stepping back from Regina. She just shrugged her shoulder and sighed before leaving the dungeon with Robin.

"Seriously? Guys what  is happening?" I pleaded with them, stepping back a couple paces to try and get some sort of hint from their faces. I could feel myself getting more tense as the moments went on.

Not a moment after, I felt Killian's hand take my own and give it a comforting squeeze. I let out a breath I didn't realise I had been holding in.

"Emma, maybe we should listen to your parents. At this point, they know more than us. We were cursed for weeks."

"Months."

"Months?!"

Whatever this is, It's not good.
