Third persons POV

It's been four days since the captains had been captured and every day Emma had thrown up. Still, she remained none the wiser of her unborn child growing day by day. And neither did the father.

The charmings made sure to send down nutritional food for Emma, eager to keep their grandchild alive through the rum based diet.

Ever since the discovery of the baby, everyone had been on edge around Snow. Everyone knew it wasn't the way she wanted to find out about her grandchild to be - her daughter locked up with the father, each with no idea who they truly are.

She had been devastated. Once again, Snow had missed out on the delight of sharing the news with her daughter. And now, Emma and Hook's baby will be born out of the worst point of their lives.

She knew she had to tell Emma as soon as they broke the curse but she had no idea how to. It's not exactly light conversation. Snow tried to distract herself with her son, husband and grandson but nothing kept the haunting thoughts away.

"I know it's name!" Henry yelled, barrelling into the dining hall with his book in hand. "The book was open on my bed this morning, I'd been writing in my sleep again and I've been writing about their future. I know what they name the baby!" He had a huge smile on his face.

Of course, he didn't know that when he walked into the dining hall, he'd be waking into chaos. His whole family stood around the table yelling at each other, every person trying to be louder than the last.

"Woah! Calm down!" Henry yelled, instantly getting everyone's attention. They all stopped to instantly and stared at the boy. "What is going on?"

They erupted in noise once again, even worse than before, reaching new decibels.

"Yeah, because I can understand that!" He yelled over everyone, causing everyone to fall into silence again. "Well?"

Regina stepped closer to Henry. "Your grandparents think that we should tell them. About their baby." She placed her hand on his shoulder comfortingly. "I don't think it'll be a good idea, which is why we were arguing."

"Grandma, grandpa. Why would you want to tell her? She doesn't even know who she is I doubt she'll want to know she going to be a mother if she's a pirate captain living off rum!" Sudden anger overcame him, they could ruin the whole plan to get them to fall in love. They'd really be screwed then.

"How can you know that, Henry-"

"Because she's my mom!"

With that, Henry stormed out of the dining hall and found his way to the stables. He stood there for a few hours, grooming the horses and spilling his fears to the animals.

While Henry ranted to his steeds, his family had agreed not to tell Emma about her child, they knew Henry was right and nobody wanted to stop Emma and Killian from falling in love.

All the while, Emma and Hook sat in their respective cells. Arguing.

"How can you say that!"

"Because it's true, love."

They were at an impass, neither of them could agree who is the better captain.

"I'm Captain Hook. I'm the most fearful pirate to sail the open seas. You're some nobody trying to claim captain." Hook rolled his eyes.

"Nobody? I'm a nobody? Would a so-called nobody pillage an entire kingdom of their gold? Would a nobody be able to pose as a royal to enter a ball and gain access to their jewels? Would a nobody be able to turn a kings most loyal guard into a blood thirsty pirate." She seethed through gritted teeth.

The bickering continued for hours, until Emma became so sleepy her eyelids fluttered closed and she drifted off into a peaceful slumber.

While Emma slept in the dirty cell, Hook watched her. He watched as her chest rose and fell rhythmically, following a beat. Never missing a step. He watched her with such intent that his breath soon followed her pattern until they were in sync.

"There's something different about you, Swan." He spoke, knowing she couldn't hear him. For some reason, he felt compelled to spill his feelings to her. Of course, he could never say it to her face. This would have to do.

"You're not like the women I meet every night in a tavern who will forever cling to the legacy that they got into bed with the dashing rapscallion, Captain Hook. But at the same time, you're not embarrassed by our shared night either. And ever since I met you, my thoughts have been so consumed I've began hallucinating. You see, Swan, I've been getting these dreams. Well, they're more like nightmares.

"It's you and me. We're in the enchanted forest, at the bottom of a giants beanstalk. You're wearing the most ridiculous clothes, we're with some other people and I believe it's queen Snow - she's wearing ridiculous clothes too-"

Hook continued to speak about his dream, remembering with great detail. He was so distracted by retelling the events he didn't notice the king and queen sneak in.

"David, what the hell does this mean?" Snow whispered to her husband, confusion clear in her tone.

"I think it means they're falling in love. If he's remembering who he is then it's not long before they break the curse."

The royals had originally come down to the dungeons to tell their daughter of her child. They had decided this themselves and believed it was their only option - to be truthful.

But hearing Killian's recount of a dream that was actually a memory, they were glad they hadn't interrupted the moment to shatter their daughters chance at going back to who she was.

"I had another dream too, you know, Swan. We were in this ridiculous realm. Everything was so strange. There was you and me again, and a young lad. I'd never seen him before in my life, but we sat on a couch in one of these odd building, there was a box with moving pictures that looked so odd-"

Snow and charming knew if they told them about who they really are, everything would be ruined and they'd never have their family back.
