Chapter 32: Big Secret

So here it is. An update after Monsta X released their MV entitled 'Fighter'. I wanted to stream their Live Performance but I don't have the luxury to do so. Anyways, I hope both groups do their best and that they win the shows. :D

[Changkyun's POV]

Everything went back to normal again after we talked about it. As far as I can remember, we talked about it until midnight that day when I rushed to him after he sent me that message. Both of us spitted out all the flaws about ourselves and talked about solutions on how we'll fill those gaps between us. We decided to talk more about ourselves and after that, we felt closer ever than before. I also remembered that I left Jooheon hanging which I apologized the day after. I told him that he needs to stop giving me all of his attention and that he needs to find another where he'll put all of his efforts instead of me. I also told him that Wonho is already dating me which made him sad. But to make up to him, I told him that we can still be friends and that he can be friends too with Wonho if he wants to. He hesitated first but he agreed after. Everything was falling back into its own place once again and that made my life be at peace finally.

"Hey. Are you okay?"

Wonho poked my cheek, pouting as he looked up at me. I guessed I was spacing out again. We're at our usual place again, under the tree behind our building. Wonho was resting his head on my lap like always after eating.

"I'm fine. I'm just thinking of something."

I smiled at him while I played with his hair, circling my finger through his soft, black hair.

"What is it about?"

"It's just that despite of what had happened, everything went back to normal again."

Wonho sighed before he got himself up. He adjusted his position and sat beside me.

"Look, Changkyun, whatever may happen in the future, I'll always be here by your side. So if you ever needed someone to hold on to, to talk to or whatever you wanted to do, remember that I'm here for you."

He smiled at me, reassuring that I can count on him anytime I want. I never felt so relieved after I heard those words from him. After all these years, I've been wanting someone to understand me, someone to make me feel safe once again and someone who can make feel like I've been the best person ever in their life aside from my mother. It was him, that person I've been looking for. I felt a warm hand hold mine which I opened and welcomed the other. He interlocked his fingers with mine, the spaces between his fingers fitted mine perfectly. I leaned my head to my side, letting it fall on his shoulders.
