Chapter 24: Housemate
[Wonho's POV]
I held Changkyun's hand after Mr. Yoo had dismissed the class. We ran out of the room quickly and exited the building. Changkyun still wore that worried look in his face every time I would steal a glance at him. He would smile back if he catches me looking at him. After we got to the school grounds, I decided to slowly pace ourselves out of the school. We walked briskly until we arrived at the sidewalk just outside the school.
"What do you want to eat?"
"Anything you want."
I beamed a question at him and he just answered casually.
"Can I eat you?"
He was taken aback when he heard my question. I just laughed at him and placed my arm on his shoulders to pull him in. I messed up his hair and he laughed after. I did those things to take away the things that continued to bother him on what had happened earlier this morning. I don't want him to feel threatened. Instead, I want him to feel that I'll be by his side, protecting him and that he can run to me every time he'll feel alone or scared. We stopped at the end of the crossing lane, waiting for the stoplight to flash the red light so we can cross to the other side of the street. I leaned my head on his and sniffed his hair.
"I just can't believe I can finally smell this hair of yours every day."
He hit my side lightly and pouted.
"I can also do this."
I kissed his forehead after which made him fluster. The stoplight finally flashed the red light. We crossed the road, together with the other people who waited with us. I know we earned weird looks but I don't care anymore.
After crossing, we made a stop at the coffee shop to buy a cake for his mom. He picked the cake flavoring that really soothed his mother's taste. I paid the said item and exited after we got the cake placed inside a decorated box.
"What do you think those boxes contained?"
Changkyun asked as we walked our way to my house.
"I don't know. I don't care about that guy. All that I cared for is you."
I saw him smile a little before darting his eyes at the ground. Thinking back, what I did was really rude for Minhyuk in which I really don't care about anymore. The way he threatened Changkyun really made me angry and that Jooheon too as well. I asked one of my classmates to return those boxes back to Minhyuk or if not, throw them away. I really don't like him lurking around me and Changkyun. Now, living together with him and his mother made me assure that he'll be safe from going to and fro the school. We can go together and get home together.
"We're here."
I said once we arrived in front of our house. We went inside and I let him rest first in the living room. I went to the kitchen to get him some water since it was a long walk from school. I saw him look at every corner of the house, inspecting if there was something that changed. He just smiled after drinking the glass of water I handed him.
"It's still the same."
"I don't want to ruin your work here. I really appreciated what you did back then, cleaning the whole house."
I smiled at him and held his hand. We trailed our steps upstairs and went inside my room.

[Changkyun's POV]
I was surprised that his room didn't changed too. It was still in the same way when I left it. I entered his room and saw two suitcases on top of his bed. He removed them for me so I can sit on his bed.
