Extra 06: Greatest Gift (Christmas Special)

A/N: Hello everyone! Are you guys still breathing? I hope you are. *laughs*

I wrote this chapter the day before Christmas. I used this one as an entry for a certain contest. Sadly, this piece wasn't able to win. Anyway, I'll give this one as a gift for everyone who ships WonKyun like me. I hope you don't die. (Just kidding though.)

Hey babe. How are you?]

Changkyun received a message from his ever-loving boyfriend, Wonho. He knew that the other sneaked out again to check up on him, which he always does during his office hours.

[To: Wonhoney <3

You sneaked out again. >:( ]

After he sent the message, he continued working inside the kitchen. He was preparing a couple of dishes for Christmas Eve when he received the message. It wasn't that much like the others used to prepare. He made something just enough for him, his mother and Wonho to share later in the evening.

I know. I'm sorry. I just missed you. So... How is my babe? ;) ]

Changkyun felt at war with himself over his emotions. His mind tells him to yell at Wonho again for sneaking out but his heart keeps on fluttering just at the sight of the word 'babe' in his phone.

I'm fine. Just cooking here and stuff you know, for Christmas Eve.]

Changkyun continued to cook while replying to Wonho. He did his best not to be too much focused in texting Wonho because if he does, a disaster would happen in the kitchen. It already happened a year ago, which really made a scar in his mind.

Oh. I almost forgot. Anyway, see you there when I get home babe. I love you. ]

Changkyun almost threw the phone across kitchen when he saw the words at the end of the message. Those words never fail make his heart to flutter, especially if it's from him. He even imagined different ways of how Wonho would say it too him, may it be whispered sexily by his ear or like a lost puppy. He even remembered one time he was so angry at Wonho for not answering any of his calls, but then it turned out that Wonho was planning a surprise for him. He was still angry even after the surprise but by the time Wonho wrapped his arms around his waist and started kissing his neck which made him melt, all the anger he was feeling against the other flushed out of his system and then those magical words came out near to his ears, and he knew it already. He was totally in love with Wonho.

Changkyun almost screamed when he saw the stove flooded with water from the boiling stew he was preparing. He immediately wiped the area with a wet towel to prevent it from flooding the counter but the stew started boiling again and some of it flowed out of the casserole, scalding a small part of his hand. He immediately washed it with running water and continued working with his cooking, not minding the pain it was causing him.
