~Emily's POV
When I got to Scotty at the truck he was talking to a girl that looked really familiar. I took my time getting there after I saw them because I didn't want to have to stand there awkwardly. She waved goodbye to Scotty and then me as she saw me getting closer. "Nice talking to you Scotty." She said before she left.
"How was your day.?"
"Better now that you're here." He said as he kissed my forehead.
"When does the show air.?"
"9pm tonight, wanna watch it with me?"
"Hell yeah." He smiled when I said that.
We drove back to the hotel and decided to go out to eat. There was this cute family owned place I had scoped out earlier that week. Scotty ordered steak and a baked potato, and I got some type of pasta dish. It was so good. While waiting for the meal we just talked about how he thought things were going on the show. I also found out that the girl he was talking to is named Brooke, and shes the only other country artist this year. Great. No I wasn't getting jealous, it just meant that she would be spending more time with Scotty than I would be getting to these days.
After dinner we went back to the room just in time for the show to come on. What would happen is we would watch and then he would talk about the people that performed during commercials, since we couldn't fast-forward them. Scotty came on about half way through,
~Scotty's POV
When I came on TV to be honest it was surreal. It was weird seeing me there, but I guess I better get used to it. I sang a couple of different songs, mainly for my mentor, and got advice and stuff. But on the show I performed Emily's favorite song; "It goes like this," By Thomas Rhett. When the music started on TV she recognized it right away.
"Awwwww, you chose my favorite one." She said hugging me sideways because we had been sitting on the end of my bed.
"Yeah, I thought you would like that."
When the performance was over I got some really great feedback from the other judges. Then Brooke performed next. After Emily said that she was pretty good. Which was a relief because I didn't want her to hate Brooke. Yes Brooke and I are just friends, and I would never want to do anything that would make me lose Em. Ever. I was planning on clarifying that with her, soon.
~Emily's POV
Brooke was honestly a really good singer and I think she would make to at least top 20. I just didn't know what was going on with her and Scotty. I shouldn't be worried, I've known Scotty all my life and I know he wouldn't do anything to hurt me. I hope. Alright no stay positive. You're not up in the clouds either, you still talked to Alex. Alex, I have no idea why he decided to approach me today, but he will only be a friend, if that. I won't let him tear me and Scotty apart, no matter what.
After watching Brooke I fell asleep because she was really the only one that I cared about watching, besides Scotty of course. I think I'll just call my parents in the morning, I'm just really tired. A little later I heard Scotty shut off the tv and kissed my forehead and also fell asleep.

A.N. I think that because I am writing every night that its a little bit more acceptable to write short chapters. To be honest this all just comes out of my head, I don't have anything really written and planned out beforehand.
For now I think my goal should be at least 600words per chapter,.. Its hard writing when I'm so tired.
I think I'm just gunna go to sleep now, expect another one tomorrow around this time.
LotsofLove ~Emily
