A.N. This will be the official last chapter, it was just really bugging me how I ended the story at 39 parts. It's all in Emily's POV, enjoy!
Once Scotty and I got to the airport we had help unloading our luggage from our carriage, since there were so many people there to help us out. Our flight leaves in less than half an hour and we still had to get through security. Scotty and I grabbed our bags and we were off.
I was first in the line to go through the metal detectors and I started taking off my boots, belt and earrings because of the metals in them. When Scotty whispered in my ear; "I can't wait to get everything off of you." I blushed and looked around to see if anyone heard him and to my surprise no one seemed to have noticed. I turned around and kissed his cheek whispering back; "You're just gunna have to wait a bit longer."
Other than being on our honeymoon I'm so excited to get to go to Texas. I've always wanted to see the ranches and wild horses and just some different scenery then what I'm used to.
We boarded our plane and got comfortable for about a 5 hour flight. You guys remember Brooke right; of course she's on the same flight as us.
Brooke: "Hey guys fancy seeing y'all here."
Scotty: "Yeah no kidding, where you headed?"
Brooke: "My aunt's ranch in Dallas. What about you two?"
Me: "Honeymooning in Austin."
Brooke: "Honeymoon?"
I held up my ring finger and showed her proof.
Brooke: "Wow congratulations, enjoy yourselves."
Then she walked away without saying another word. Hell yeah Scotty's mine and he always has been since childhood, that's right walk away sweetheart. But I didn't realize I mumbled this and Scotty was just sitting there chuckling.
Scotty: "You're so funny when you're angry."
Me: "I said that aloud? Oops."
Scotty: "Yes you did, but not loud enough for her to hear."
Me: "Okay good I don't wanna start a cat fight or anything."
Scotty: "My money would be on you anyways."
I kissed his cheek and we were interrupted by the flight attendant's voice explaining safety procedures and what not.
Once we finally landed in Austin Scotty and I grabbed our carry-on bags and were off to enjoy ourselves. We jumped two time zones and when I went to check my phone that's when I figured this out, and how tired I am. I hate jumping time zones.
I urged Scotty to get a rental truck, similar to his back at home and we headed right to our hotel room checked in and I lied down for a little nap.
When I went to sleep it was 5pm here in Texas but really 7pm at home. I woke up to the smell of roses and the sound of the bath running.
Scotty: "Hey look who's awake."
That when I realized it's nearly nine at night; "I slept for four hours! It was supposed to be a nap."
Scotty: "The bath is running for you and then maybe we can find somewhere nice to go out to dinner."
Me: "That'd be awesome, why don't you join me."
Scotty: "I was hoping you would say that."
All week this is how our days went wake up early take a bath or shower together and then go and see what there was to do. By Friday we were driving around to different cities just to see what else there was in store. Too bad our little vacation is only a week long; I could honestly live out here. By a house, preferably a ranch, trailer Mick and April out here, maybe rescue some more horses, and make a life out here. I definitely wouldn't miss the snow either. But I know that's too big of a plan to spring on him just yet, I'll wait until the right moment.
