Door - Chapter 13

"Well. Now you've met pretty much the whole family," I smile, digging around in my bag searching for the house key.

"You're still my favourite," He smiles, winding his arms around my waist from behind and kissing the back of my neck and shoulders, sending a shiver down my spine and throughout my body.

"Can't you just wait a couple of minutes!" I chuckle, tipping my head back and hunching my shoulders so my neck is hidden.

"Nope," He chuckles as the door flings open and I dart inside.

He catches my hand as I try to get away and pulls me back so I'm pressed against the door and within the same second his lips are pressed against my skin again.

"We could just walk to my room rather than stopping in the doorway?"

He hitches my legs up around his waist and holds my waist tightly, pressing me back into the door, all without taking his lips off me.

My neck arches back, causing my head to hit the door and I stare up to the roof, listening to the only sound in the room - our breathing.

"Kiss me," he murmurs, a husky chuckle escaping with his words.

"You're not giving me a chance-"

His lips crash down on to mine and I can no longer argue with him about not having a chance to kiss him.

His hands find their way to my zipper on the back of my dress and I let out a small chuckle.

"Wait," I stutter and he pulls back, resting his forehead on mine.

"What?" He says, our chests heaving.

"Against a door? Really?"

"I had to do it against a cave wall in Camelot. A door is kind of classy compared to that,"

We both laugh in unison as he drops my legs down so my feet are planted firmly on the floor. He keeps hold of my hand and turns around to walk to my room.

I don't think about it at all, I just jump onto his back, wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms over his shoulders and he doesn't flinch at all.

"Piggyback!!!" I smile, tucking my chin over his shoulder, kissing his jawline quickly.

"Works for me," He smiles, his teeth reflecting the minimal light.

He walks to my bedroom and butterflies flutter around in my stomach. His hands drop from under my legs and I slide off his back, my feet hitting the floor.

His arm circles around me and he pulls me in front of him, looking down into my eyes - causing the world to pause.

"What are you waiting for?" I chuckle, my hand snaking up to behind his neck.

Without a response he ducks his head, nuzzling the hollow of my throat sending shivers all over my body, lowering me slowly back down onto the bed.
