I switch off the lamp and slide under my quilt. "Come with me!" He chuckles, dragging me closer to his chest - the warmth radiating onto my skin,

"How could I suddenly just go to London? How could I just drop everything and go?"

"Is there an important event tying you down here?"

"Not really... Just work and family,"

There's a pause where nothing is heard until he starts speaking again. "Please come with me. I know it's a lot to ask, for me to ask you to leave your family,"

I sigh and shut my eyes, cuddling up to his chest, could I actually do it? Could I really go? Just leave. Just like that. I love him but what if its just a temporary love? One of those spring fling things that everyone talks about?

Don't be stupid Jess. You would know if it was temporary and it doesn't feel like that.

"You have to answer me," He chuckles, "Yes or no, come on. Don't leave me hanging,"

I bring my head up and meet his gaze, "I'll meet you there."

His face lights up - half with happiness and the other half with confusion, "What do you mean?"

"You can go tomorrow, and I will come in like 2 or 3 weeks or something,"

"For how long?" He asks, getting excited.

I shrug, "I don't know, until I decide I want to come home,"

"I love you so much Jess,"

"Hmmm," I murmur, my eyes closing with fatigue as I snuggle closer to him, "I love you too,"

Matt had asked Jamie if I could drive them both to the airport as the rest of their friends had already left a few days earlier.

I had mixed emotions about this day. About saying goodbye. I didn't want him to go, but I wanted to see what it was like without him. I'd been so caught up in this whirlwind for the past 3 weeks that I wasn't sure how I would feel when he left.

I slow the car down as we enter the airport car park and we all try to find a spot, and after driving around for about 10 minutes, we finally succeed.

As soon as we find one, I shut the engine off and we all jump out of the car without saying a word. The back of the car opens automatically as I click the button and the boys haul out the luggage.

I lean back onto the window, watching him as he walks around to get his phone out of the front seat but he pauses in front of me, looking down into my eyes.

He nuzzles his face into my neck and sighs, pressing his lips lightly to my collar bone for half a second, before bringing his forehead to rest on mine, "I'm going to miss you so much," He chuckles, a sad tone in his voice, kissing me with a fiery passion that I've grown to love.

"Alright lovebirds, keep your clothes on," Matt chuckles, smacking Jamie lightly over the back of his head.

"Let's go," I say quietly to him as Matt starts walking.

He takes my hand and intertwines our fingers together, clamping onto my hand tighter then he ever has before.

I rest my head on his shoulder in the uncomfortable chairs in the waiting lounge, both of us looking around at all of the other people about to share a 24 hour flight with him.

My eyes fall to a pair of girls giggling and looking at him. At first I don't understand what they're giggling about but then I realize.

'It's a nervous giggle' I think to myself. 'That guy your leaning on and you've been cuddling up to for the last hour, yeah, he's famous'.

I look up to his face and rest my chin on his shoulder, "The girls?" He asks me, grinning at me and we both chuckle at the same time.

"I find it so weird," I say in a hushed voice, looking behind me so they can't see what I'm saying.

"What?" He smiles, his lips finding my ear.

"That you're famous,"

"I find it weird too," He chuckles, kissing me on my temple.

Matt chuckles, passing Jamie his coffee and tea to me, "I swear to god, you two have kissed more in the last two hours than I have in the last two years,"

"No need to be jealous," Jamie banters back, all three of us bearing smiles on our faces.

"Flight Q619 to London boarding now, Flight Q619 boarding," A female voice floats through the speakers.

"That's us," Jamie sighs, standing up, pulling me up by my hand, "Do I have to go?" He asks jokingly, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Yep. Sorry lovebirds," Matt says, clapping him on the shoulder, "Nice meeting you Jess," He smiles, handing Jamie his boarding pass and hugging me.

"You too," I smile as he walks past and leaves Jamie and I as alone as we can get in Melbourne's airport.

"I love you," I smile, wrapping my arms around his waist. He envelopes me tightly and cups the back of my head with his hand.

"I love you too. I'll see you soon, yeah?" He chuckles, cupping my face with his hands.

"Two-three weeks," I nod.

"Good," He looks over to the gates where Matt is standing, waiting. "Well, I have to go, bye Jess,"

Those last words rip my heart of my chest. I throw myself onto him and bury my face in his chest. "I'll see you later I guess," I chuckle solemnly.

"You will,"

He steps back and walks towards the gate.

"JAMIE!" I yell just as the Stuartess scans his pass. He turns around and smiles at me as I run up to him and press my lips to his for the last time for the next few weeks.

And it hurts. More than it should.
