"Would it be alright if I walked around with her for a bit? Or pushed her around in a wheelchair for a bit?" He smiles at Kelly. I hope she says yes. I haven't moved for days, maybe even a week I don't even know!

"That should be okay... I'm just thinking, would you be able to take this as you go, because I can't disconnect you from it yet," She motions towards the metal framing holding a bag of fluid.

"Can I just take the bag and not the pole," I ask and she thinks about it.

"Where are you going to go?" She asks Jamie.

"I don't know. Just out of this room. Maybe downstairs to one of the cafes, I have no idea,"

"I'm not supposed to let you just take the bag but I feel for you so yeah you can, just hold it upright at all times and be careful, maybe even hook it onto the back of the chair," She smiles, "I'll be right back,"

I ignore her as she leaves and turn to Jamie, "Thank you," I smile to him, "I need to get out of here,"

"I can imagine," He leans over and kisses me, hardly touching me at all as if his touch is going to shatter me to pieces.

"What are you doing here anyhow? What happened to LA or Canada or wherever you were going?"

He smiles and sits back down in the chair, crossing one leg over the other, "I was kidding. When I said I was getting on a plane I was on my way back here to see you,"

"I figured that one out,"

"Exactly. I wanted to surprise you so I just said I was going to LA as a decoy," He smiles and winks at me sending a rosey blush to my cheeks.

"Well. I'm glad your here. You can help me remember stuff from the very last couple of days before you left,"

"Not a lot to it really. We just spent time together,"

Kelly walks back in wheeling a wheelchair in front of her, placing it next to my bed, "Can you try to push yourself to the edge of the bed and then I can help you into the chair,"

I pull my legs over the side of the bed with my arms and push myself to the edge. "Here," Jamie smiles, looping my arm over his shoulders and picking me up and lowering me into the chair.

"Thank you," I chuckle, taking the bag out of Kelly's hand.

"Take care," she smiles, opening the door and smiling as I pass under her.
