Alex and John woke up to a hotel attendant yelling at them that they made a huge mess and need to get out of the resident area because the morning rush would be there soon. The two boy quickly pull all their things giggling and bumping into each other. they run down the stairs and then the hall into their apartment. Alexander, who was holding the comforter from John's bed runs into John's room flopping down onto the bad and rolling himself up in the blanket. John follows throwing the blankets and pillows on top of alex and, slipping himself under the covers and wrapping his arms around alex pulling him close.
Suddenly both their phones buzzed twice indicating a text.
ANG to dweebs group chat: Brunch at the usual place?
"sure, we haven't seen everyone in a while" John says. Alexander nods and pulls out his phone out and types away.
Alex to dweebs group chat: Sure John and I will def be there!
John to dweebs group chat: But maybe in line an hour ;)
Laffy: ...
Peggy: wow you two =)
Herc: be there at 11:00???
Ang: Kk, that goes for my sis's too
Herc: yeah me and Laff will be there 2 c:
John cuddle up lose to Alexander nuzzling his head into Alexander's neck, blowing Alexander's hair off his neck, They both slowly doze off into each other. After only a few minutes a loud alarm blares on Alexanders phone waking them up, Alexander scrambles to snooze it as John laughs at his beautiful boyfriend.
"Well, I guess we should get dressed" John says happily. They get out of their blanket mountain and slipped some new cloths on from Johns closet.
John and Alexander have completely different styles in most ways. When Alexander pulls on on of John,s turtle t-shirts and a pair of jeans, he does a sassy model turn and pose. John laughs and gives Alexander a big hug from the back from the back burying his face in alexander's hair hair suking in his scent.
Twenty minutes later they were stumbling out of their small apartment hand in hand and giggling.

on the other side of town Eliza Schuyler climbed out of a foreign bed holding a bed sheet around herself and clicking her phone open.
"Shit..." she say's a little too loud
"What's wrong Liza?" the figure next to her said.
"My sister told everyone I'd be at brunch in 10." She said in a panicked tone.
"Okay, this might be a good time to introduce me to your friends." The man said. Eliza rolled her eye's saying,
"They already know you..." Eliza said trailing off.
"I know, I know, but like as your boyfriend." He said.
Eliza flopped back into bed, the breakfast joint was only a few minuets down the road from where she was, so she thought that it would be fine if she took a few more selfish minutes in the warm bed. She rolled over and said remorsefully,
"Jame's, my friends associate you with Thomas Jefferson... and we all know what a son of a bitch he was." James Madison
reaches over pulling Eliza into his arms, kissing her head,
"It's been two month's since we've been been together, and three since Thomas..." He paused "went away" he finished. Eliza closed her eyes imaging the good and bad that could come from telling her friends about her relationship with James.

John pushed open the heavy diner doors letting Alexander walk through them first, then letting them swing closed behind him. They walked towards the usual table their friends group had occupied almost every other Sunday morning since the beginning of freshman year. Alexander pulled one of the chairs out for John, triggering and 'awwww' from one Peggy Schuyler. After john took a seat Alexander placed himself in the next chair over.
"Where 'Liza?" Lafayette said in a thick french accent. Angelica and Peggy shrugged simultaneously.
"We have a hypothesis that there's a boy she's not telling us about somewhere." Peggy said in a scientific way, mocking her sister who was biology Major. every chuckled at that.
Some time later after everyone had already ordered, Eliza came stubbing through the doors. She sat down at the empty spot next to Angelica and Hercules like nothing was wrong, everyone was silent and staring at her as she greeted her and flipped through her emails. Eliza looked up suddenly saying,
"What? is my mascara smudged?"
"No, you've been ghosting us and look like you have a massive hangover." Angelica retorted. Eliza chuckled,
"No, no, no, I was up ALL night studying at my friend's dorm, their from med school and we were prepping for the test." she brushed the question off with ease. there were varied mmh humm's from the group, but everyone was so hungry that they forgot about it.
Halfway through brunch Alexander excused himself from the table to use the bathroom, soon fowled by John.
"Should we have an escort go with you, keep you horny teenagers from doing anything stupid?" Hercules shouted after him. John rolled his eye's,
"I'm just going to the counter to grab a new pot of coffee, but Herc, if your into watching people suck face, i think i an arrange something... not involving me, by the way" there was an oooh from Peggy and Laff. John came back soon after with a pot of coffee and Alexander's hand in his.
"You'll never believe who I saw!" Alexander chimed. Before anyone could ask who John blurted
"James Madison, and guess who-" Alexander cut him off while seeing Eliza flinch.
"Maria Reynolds!" Alexander finished Johns sentence, John stared contently at Alexander giving him a sweet peck on the cheek.
"Oh, I'd love to get piece of her... in more ways then one!" Peggy said all flirty.
"Peggy! no fraternizing with the enemy!" Angelica told her sister jokingly, Peggy shrugged.
"Too bad about James..." Eliza said
"Yeah, i doubt he can function without having Thomas constantly thinking for him!" Herc said. Alexander noticed how worried Eliza seemed, but try to set it aside in his mind.

After brunch the group walked down to central park and spent the day hanging out. around 8:30 after everybody had said their good bye's, Alexander and John walked back to their apartment, talking and laughing. When they got home they made tea and curled up on the couch watching RENT for the ten thousandth time. After walks they crawled back into the mountain of blanket's on Johns bed.
"I'm sorry for being such a dumb ass and delaying this awesome relation ship." Alexander said softly.
"Don't sweat it baby girl" John said, trying out a new pet name. He felt Alexander laugh in reassurance.
"I'm sorry your stuck with some that your way out of the league of." John said pouting. Alexander tilted John's head up and kissing him
"Oh please, your the most beautiful person I've ever laid my eye's on!" they both laughed and fell asleep once more to the quiet pounding of each others heart's.
