Chapter 32

MARIA'S POV

"Guys, we should invite everyone over for a pizza party!" I said to the girls.

"Yeah! Totally!" they replied.

"I think we should invite Tess and Kylie. I mean, they have been helping us with our training, and they did catch me before I fell on tryouts." I explained.

"Sure... I guess. It's always good to make new friends." Kris said.

"Yeah. We need to make new friends that are girls. Too much guys!" Jenna laughed, followed by Kris and I.

"Okay, so the guys, Kylie, and Tess are invited?" Kris asked.

"Yup." Jenna and I smiled.

"Sure, we'll come." Connor answered for all the boys when the girls and I asked.

"Great. That leaves Tess and Kylie." I whispered.

"The girls that have been helping you train?" Riley asked.

"Yup." we all answered.

"Okay, we'll see you guys later!"

"Bye!"

"Yeah, of course we'll come! Can't wait!" Tess exclaimed.

"Great! We'll see you there!" Jenna said.

As we walked away, Tess said to Kylie, "Tonight's the night that we start the plan."

"Let's do this." Kylie replied.

Once we got far enough, I asked, "What was that all about?"

"I have no clue. But I think we need to talk to Jeremy and Tamani." Jenna replied as she got out her phone and started texting.

10 minutes later Kris, Jenna, Tamani, Jeremy, and I were sitting on the couch in my basement.

"So what do you think this has to do with us?" Tamani asked.

"Well, we think that they were the ones that have been hating on us." I said.

The guys contemplated the newly formed idea.

"It could be." Tamani said.

"I guess we'll see soon." Jeremy said.

Just as he finished his sentence the doorbell rang.

"Well that must be them because the rest of the guys just walk in." Kris laughed.

Jenna and I giggled.

Kris opened the door and there stood a smiling Kylie and Tess. But their smiles were a little too big and way too fake. I bet Kris and Jenna could see right through them too. Crap. That was so not a good sign.

"Hi guys!" Kris, Jenna, and I said to Tess and Kylie.

"Hey!" they replied.

"Come in!" Kris said.

They stepped inside and gave each other glances. Oh my god, come on. They can't be serious, being so obvious that something is going to happen tonight.

Tess opened her mouth to say something but then all the guys barged in the door, screaming.

"Yo, what up with the entrance?!" Jenna asked the guys.

But they were too busy screaming and laughing with each other that they didn't even hear Jenna.

Screw this. "SHUT UP YOU IDIOTS YOU'RE GIVING US ALL A MAJOR HEADACHE!" I screamed.

It grew quiet. "Love you guys." I said as I gave them all a hug.

Everyone started laughing.

"Okay, come back after you go." I whispered into Jeremy's ear. It was 10:00 and the guys claimed they wanted to head back home.

Tess and Kylie were obviously twitching to say something so I texted the guys and told them that the girls and I needed to talk about something private.

As soon as the door closed behind Braiden, Tess said, "You guys are so gullible."

"What?" I asked.

"Did you seriously not figure out that it has been us sending you that hate? Wow, I almost didn't believe Kaitlin when she asked us to do it." Kylie said.

"You have got to be fucking kidding me right now." I mumbled.

"Nope. Sorry. Since Tamani couldn't do his job, Kaitlin got us to do it. She told us everything, and promised to give us anything once we got you three out of the way. Kaitlin said we would eventually rule the world together." Tess smirked.

"And when Kaitlin told us all about you three, we hated you from the beginning. Now, we decided to ruin your lives, then cause all of you a slow, painful death." Kylie explained.

"Starting tomorrow. See ya later." Tess said as she and Kylie sashayed out the front door.

Jenna, Kris, and I all stood there, mouth agape.

But we all turned around when someone cleared their throat from behind us.

There stood Tamani and Jeremy.

However, behind them was our worst nightmare. Connor, Riley, Toby, Thomas, and Braiden.

"What was that?" Thomas asked.

"Should we tell them?" I whispered to the girls.

"We have to. They most likely followed Tamani and Jeremy back and heard everything." Kris whispered back.

"Okay. Guys, sit down. This is a long story." I sighed.

"That isn't true! Why are you lying?!" Toby accused us.

"We're not lying!" I exclaimed.

"Yes you are! Kaitlin would never do that! Why make up such lies!" Riley yelled at us.

"Why don't you believe us?" Jenna questioned.

"Because you're obviously jealous. You got Tess and Kylie to help you with those lies!" Toby yelled.

"No we didn't! How could you even think that? I thought you trusted us!" I yelled back at him.

"Maria, I'm sorry, but I can't be with someone who makes up lies like this. We're done." Connor said to me.

"Me too, Kristina." Braiden said.

"Me three, Jenna." Thomas said.

"You know what? Don't talk to us anymore! And don't say we didn't warn you! Get out of my house and never come back!" I screamed at them, now sobbing along with the others.

"Fine by us!" Riley yelled back.

"Go fuck yourselves!" Jenna and Kris yelled at them, in the same state I am.

They slammed the door on their way out.

The girls and I immediately ran to each other, hugging and sobbing.

Shit. Tamani and Jeremy were still here.

"Why didn't they believe us?" I asked the guys.

They shrugged, but came to us and enveloped us in a hug.

"I've a summer house in New York. How about we go there until March? I mean, we have most of that off and we already took our midterms." Tamani explained.

"Okay. Let's leave now. You in, Jeremy?" I asked.

"Sure. My parents don't care what I do or where I go anyway." he shrugged.

"I'll stay here while the girls pack while you go, then come back once you're done and I'll go." Tamani said to Jeremy.

He nodded and started towards the door.

"Will we need furniture?" I asked Tamani.

"No. There's the master bedroom, mine, and two guest rooms. You girls can take the master bedroom. It has a bathroom and a king bed so you all should fit in it." he explained.

I turned and hugged him, tears pouring out. "Thank you so much, Tamani."

"No problem at all."

By 1 am everyone was packed and ready to go. I left a note for Mom if she ever came back. Then, the girls and I wrote a note to the guys.

Braiden, Thomas, Riley, Connor, and Toby,

If you idiots ever decided to reevaluate your choice to not believe us, it's too late. We've gone away. This is not to make you all feel guilty, but just to say that we don't give second chances to many people. If you want to walk out our door, we'll hold it open for you. With us, it's all or nothing. We don't let people treat us like you all did. Tamani and Jeremy have come with us. They've known everything and been by our side for awhile. This is why we didn't tell you, you'd never understand. And we were right.

After that, we left for the plane. Hopefully this all will blow over by March. If it's not, I guess we're not coming back.
