RILEY'S POV
We have our plan, two weeks later. And in those two weeks, Maria, Jenna, and Kris have gotten into three fist fights, and ten arguments. It's been an awful two weeks.
The guys and I still can't believe that there's a chip in the girls' head. But, we try to look on the bright side. We have a plan and it's gonna to work. And... it's about to go into action in about ten seconds.
"Hey, girls!" Jeremy shouted at Maria and her posse, Kris and her posse, and Jenna and her posse while he threw pies at them.
That was my cue.
Connor, Toby, Jeremy, Brai, and I fake laughed and ran towards where Thomas, Hayes, and Cam were hiding.
We heard them screaming and running behind us; that's a good thing. But the bad thing is that even though they are not in the right shoes, the girls were still getting super close to us.
Jeremy was a runner too, so that just left Braiden, Toby, Connor, and I as the lucky ducklings that had to dodge everything that Maria, Kris, and Jenna through at us, whether it was gum, mascara, lip stick, eyeliner, more gum, or even their 'girl items'.
Finally, we got to the alley where the others were hiding and started to run as fast as we possibly could. The girls were shocked for a moment then sped up too. But by the time they got over their shock, Toby, Connor, Brai, Jeremy, and I already halted to a stop and were making faces at them.
The girls stopped so quickly that it took a moment to regain their balance. SUCCESSS! This is just what we planned. In that exact moment where Maria, Jenna, and Kris sought to gain their balance back, Cam, Thomas, and Hayes popped out of their hiding spot behind the thick street pole and hit Maria, Jenna, and Kris in the head very hardly with a shovel. Toby, Connor, and I ran to catch them before they fell and hit the rock hard ground.
Cam, Thomas, and Hayes sat down on the ground, ashamed of what they've done, but proud that they had the strength to go through with our plan for the safety of everyone.
"Job well done, boys." Detective Stabler said as he appeared from around the corner with Olivia, Detective Rollins, Detective Finn, and Captain Cragen.
We just moaned in response.
"Listen, guys, I know it was hard to do but it was for the best. Now, we can get the chips safely out of their heads." Detective Rollins said.
"We know." we all grumbled in response.
The detectives decided to leave us alone on the ride back to the station. They know that it was very hard for us to do that and still put on a smile throughout the whole act. It was a miracle.... seriously....
The ride to the "special" hospital dragged on. It was silent, and well.. awkward for the whole ride.
Once that stupid ride was finally over, and once Maria, Jenna, and Kris was rushed into a surgery room, Braiden, Thomas, Cam, Hayes, Connor, Jeremy, Toby, and I impatiently sat in the waiting room for hours. Time was slow. Our thoughts gradually overpowered our brains. We eventually started to think about the worst that could be happening. Everything was in slow motion. The people around us took long steps. Their cries were heartbreaking, deafening. We fidgeted in our seats, hoping, praying that this would all be over. That Maria, Jenna, and Kris would just go back to normal. That all of this would end within the next second. But that "next second" never came. The people only moved slower and cried louder. The walls of the waiting room were white. Then as they came closer the walls became more gray.
"Are you here for Maria, Jenna, and Kris?" the doctor spoke as soon as the walls were about to close on me.
"Yes." we all jumped up, breaking our large imagination.
