Chapter 54

MARIA'S POV

Today was Disney character day! Since Riley and Kris and Jenna and Connor were dating, we switched parts *((A/N: I CHANGED THAT ALREADY IN CHAPTER 50))*. So, the updated parts are me as Belle, Toby as The Beast, Jenna as Snow White, Connor as Prince Charming, Kris as Ariel, Riley as Prince Eric, Remy- Robin Hood, Cam- Peter Pan, Hayes- Little John, Thomas- Captain Hook, and Braiden as Prince John.

Apparently the whole entire freaking school thinks that Toby and I are dating, but we are just really close friends. Yes, we have our intimate moments, but we are not officially a couple. I think it's cute that everyone thinks we're a couple, but totally false. In addition, I'm dressing as Belle and Toby is dressing as The Beast... so that's gonna be the gossip of the day today. Plus, yesterday Toby and I also dressed up as characters that got together and had their 'happy ending'.

I sang along to Good To You by Marianas Trench as I put on my crop top and maxi skirt (yes, my maxi skirt does cover my stomach). I slipped on my sandals once I finished. I took my grown out bangs, pulled them behind my head, and tied it in a bun, with a few strands flowing down, just like Princess Belle's hair. I looked into the mirror and spun around. I looked exactly like Belle. Wow..

I smiled and walked out the door and down the stairs. I immediately noticed Jenna, because of the bright colors she wore since she dressed up as Snow White. Kris was basically in different shades of blue, since she dressed up as Ariel on land. They looked gorgeous.

I walked outside and saw the guys. I know that I said that I thought the guys looked the hottest yesterday, but today comes close behind. Toby, along with all the other guys that dressed up as princes, wore a loose fitting long sleeved white shirt, that had a slit in the middle but was slightly stitched closed. They wore tight, but not too tight, black pants and black boots.

Jenna and Kris ran over to Connor and Riley and kissed them.

"NO PUBLIC PDA!" Remy yelled and the rest of us laughed.

The couples broke apart and blushed.

I giggled. "Can someone carry me to school?" I whined.

"Have your love for the day do it." Hayes said.

He smiled and picked me up.

"Thank you." I said.

I felt someone staring at me and turned towards Riley.

He wiggled his eyebrows at me and smiled knowingly. I rolled my eyes and looked ahead.

"Leave the poor girl alone." I heard Kris whisper yell at Riley.

I turned and laughed at them, but so did Toby.

"What?" he asked.

"Nothing that concerns you, Tobius." Riley said.

Toby raised his eyebrows at Riley but Riley ignored him.

Thank God school was up ahead, that moment was just about to get ten times more awkward.

We walked into school and the whispering started.

"OH MY GOD NOT AGAIN! TOBY IS MY BEST FRIEND NOT MY BOYFRIEND YOU NOSY PIGS!" I screamed.

Toby looked a little hurt when I said that, but he hasn't brought anything up about it. Yet... Maybe that's the key word...

"If you're hurt, you can just ask me." I whispered into Toby's ear, hoping he'd know what I was referring to.

"Ask what?" he questioned, but I could tell he knew exactly what I was talking about.

But I decided to let it be. If he didn't want to ask I wasn't going to force him.
