Chapter 56

MARIA'S POV

We just got out of the car and were at the hotel. Momma and Poppa checked us in, which took forever, as usual for a vacation hotel. We were going to be there all week. Well until Easter Sunday. Then, since Momma and Poppa don't have a big family, then, Toby, Connor, and Riley are coming with Jenna, Kris, and I to Easter at my family's in Vermont. It's going to be strange, seeing my mom and brother who I haven't seen for five months. Whatever. I'm just excited to see my family again and to introduce them to the guys. Too bad that Remy, Brai, Thomas, Hayes, and Cam were going to their family's for Easter. They're meeting their families here, in Myrtle Beach. Well, we just dropped them off. I forgot to mention that earlier... They weren't allowed to come with us. Well, Thomas and Brai were, but they went with their families because they never saw them. So, now it was just Momma, Poppa, Connor, Riley, Toby, Kris, Jenna, and I. We're meeting Cam, Hayes, Remy, Thomas, and Brai at our hotel the day we leave, though.

"We're ready." Momma said as her and Poppa led us to our room.

"Okay. We have three rooms. Two of which are connecting. Now, I'm going to let you children have the connecting rooms. However, girls take one room, and boys take the other. Is that a deal?" Poppa said.

We nodded.

The girls and I walked into our room. It was amazing. There was a twin bed and a Queen bed, so we decided to switch with who got the twin bed. The walls were an off white. Our bathroom was pinkish with a big counter thingy for us to put our things on. However, the shower was a little small. There was also a desk in the main part of the room with a mirror, so the girls and I set up our makeup and jewelry on that table. We set our bags and groceries on the table ajar to the desk. In the dresser, we hung our skirts and sundresses. Then, we placed our bathing suits, tops, bottoms, and underwear and bras in the draws.

Then, Jenna, Kris, and I walked out to the deck. The view was amazing. We were able to see the beach perfectly in one direction, and in the other was the pool. In back of the pool was the rest of the hotels.

"SMILEY, ARY, SNOW!" I heard someone scream.

"Ri?" we yelled back.

"Yes! We can hear you!" Riley shouted.

The girls and I laughed.

We found a secret door thing between the two rooms. The girls and I started pulling at it. Soon enough it budged and swung open.

Toby, Riley, and Connor stood there in shock.

"Hi, guys." I said, smirking.

"Was that supposed do that?" Ri asked.

The girls and I shrugged.

"That's great." Connor mumbled.

We chuckled.

"So, what do we do now?" I asked.

"We can go into town." Jenna suggested.

"How are we gonna get money though?" Riley asked.

Suddenly, Toby looked like a light bulb went off in his head. Literally. He ran out of the room and came back with our guitars, the drummer seat thing, and the keyboard stand.

"We sing." Toby smiled.

The rest of us cheered.

"Perfect!" Kris exclaimed.

"So, who's getting what?" I asked.

"I'll get the block." Kris said.

"Guitar." Toby and I said.
