MARIA'S POV
Okay, I've only gotten two notes these past three days. Usually I'd get the notes everyday. I guess the admirer is busy, or has just forgotten about me. The one I got three days ago, the day I met Luke, read:
you can brighten up my day,
with just a flash of your smile.
I hope you never go away,
'cause my love for you runs for miles.<3
Then, I didn't get one the day after that. The one I got yesterday said:
you hold a special place in my heart,
that will never be broken apart.
even if you end up breaking me,
that place in my heart will always be.<3
Okay, I mean, seriously, when is this person going to reveal themselves.
Oh, and by the way, I was just about to go to sleep after a long day of more beach and riding around the town.
"Hello?" I quietly said after I heard a noise in the corner.
I looked around me. I was in Tamani's summer house in New York. No one was there that I could see.
"Hi, Curly." I heard a very familiar voice say from behind me.
I turned around slowly. There he was, just standing there, in perfect form. He looks just like he used to.
"Tam?" I whispered.
"It's me." he said.
I sprinted to him and hugged him tightly with as much force as I could muster up. As a result, we fell to the ground, with me on top.
I grabbed his cheeks and pulled his face up to meet mine. I'm pretty sure that it was the most passionate kiss I have ever given or received.
I was sobbing by that part.
Tam and I finally pulled away.
"Why did you leave me?" I sobbed into his shirt.
"It was my time to go, Curly. That moment was my destiny, what I was meant to do."
"How do you know if it was your destiny?"
Tam smiled. "Because I'm an angel sent from Heaven specifically to protect you, Kristina, and Jenna."
I sat up, tears still involuntarily flowing down my cheeks. "You're kidding. This is a dream. I'm on vacation, spring break, in Myrtle Beach. This isn't real."
"You're right about half of that. This is a dream, and you are in Myrtle Beach, but I'm not kidding. This is not exactly a dream. You're at the gateway of Heaven. It's just disguised as the summer house."
"So you're telling me you're an angel, we're practically in Heaven, and God planted you in your mother's stomach just so you could save Jenna, Kris, and I?"
"Yes. It worked out quite well, actually. Mom and Dad wanted to have a boy as their oldest child, so Our Father saw that as his chance to save you three."
"What's your angel name?"
"Tamani. It never changed. Have you ever wondered why my name sounded so weird and was so uncommon?"
"Well, yeah, but I never knew that it was because you were a freaking angel."
He chuckled. "Well, it's because God made that name specifically for me. Every other male that has the name Tamani got it from me, or God."
