Flamestrike was talking to his friends when he saw Cinderfeather at the pond. "Um, I'll be back guys." He said, walking over to Cinderfeather. "Hey, Cinder?" "Yea?" She asked. "Um... B-Blackclaw saw." He said, blushing somewhat. "WHAT!?" Cinderfeather shot up, before shaking her head. "Yeah... and she stayed. AND used that show we gave her for... d-doing certain things." Flamestrike continued. "I'm going to kill Blackclaw!" She growled. "Just leave me alone. I need to think about this." She said running off. "Cinder!?" Flamestrike chased her out of camp.

They went all the way to the gathering place when Flamestrike approached her. "Cinder, what's wrong?" He asked. "I..." She took a deep breath. "That was the last straw, Flamestrike. It's hard to say, but..." She paused, tears welling up in her eyes. "I'm leaving RiverClan." She finally said. "Cinder, don't! I'll tell Blackclaw off, I'll get all this shit dealt with, and we can finally be happy together with our kits!" Flamestrike protested. "I'm sorry... I just can't take it anymore." She paused. "I leave tomorrow, so we might as well enjoy our last night together." He sighed, knowing he can't change her mind. "Very well... I'll miss you." Flamestrike said, nuzzling her. "Same here." She purred, and they fell asleep.

The next morning, they returned to camp and Cinderfeather announced she was leaving RiverClan. "No, don't go!" Minnowtail ran over to her. "I'm sorry guys..." Cinderfeather said before walking out of camp. "Wait!" Flamestrike called, running over to her. "I might as well escort you to the border." He said, nuzzling her. "Same here." Podzolfur ran over to them. "Same here." He said. "Podzol, if you think REALLY hard you MIGHT find out WHY I'm escorting Cinderfeather and WHY I was hoping to do it alone." Flamestrike said. "Um... to mate her again?" Podzol asked. "NO!!! Because we'll never get to see eachother again as mates." Cinderfeather said, tears in her eyes. "Oh. Flamestrike, when you get back, you have permission to call me a dumbass." Podzol joked, going back into camp.

"Well, let's go." Flamestrike said, escorting Cinderfeather to the border. "Well... I'll miss you." He nuzzled Cinderfeather. She returned the nuzzle. "I'll miss you too." She said. "Goodbye, Flamestrike." She said, tears in her eyes. "Goodbye, Cinderfeather." He said, also trying to hold back tears. And with that, she crossed the border and left RiverClan. Flamestrike watched her go before returning to camp.

His plan was to sleep, but he saw Blackclaw and decided to confront her instead. "Blackclaw!" He growled angrily, walking over to her. "You deciding to fuck yourself over Cinder and I mating caused me to lose my mate!" He yelled. "What!? I never said I did THAT! Also, I was only there for a second! I teleported away as soon as I saw what you were doing!" Blackclaw said.

"Wait, WHAT!?!?" Flamestrike said, angry. "Then why make it sound like you were there for longer!?" Flamestrike growled. "I was trying to tease you! I didn't expect this kind of reaction!" She said. "Well, how did you know we went mu-" "I teleported back 45 minutes later, and you were still at it. I quickly teleported away that time too." Blackclaw explained. "Next time, don't use that as blackmail and tell us you teleported away immediately." He growled. "You caused me to lose my mate! Maybe your still corrupted, and it might be too late to save you." He growled.

She jumped back and unsheathed her claws. "I swear, it was an accident! I don't want to fight you, but if I have to, I will." "Well, you have to!" Flamestrike growled, unsheathing his claws and charging her. He swiped, but Blackclaw dodged and bowled him over, pinning him down. "FLAMESTRIKE, CALM THE FUCK DOWN!!!" She growled. "It was an honest mistake, and I didn't mean for what happened TO happen! Yes, go ahead, yell at me if you want, but don't escalate this into a fight!" She said. Flamestrike growled, but started to calm down. He took a deep breath. "Sorry, it's just... if it wasn't for that prank you pulled, none of this would have happened." He said. She got off of him. "I know. I fucked up. But what's done is done. We can't change the past." She said. "Sorry." She faded away.

He sighed. Even with all of this, things can have gone worse. At least she didn't die, so there's a chance of her coming back. I hope she's okay...
