Rick,Daryl Glenn and Maggie are stood around in a circle trying to figure out what to do with Merle.

"Would you really want him sleeping in a cell next to Carol,Beth" Glenn stated.

"He ain't a rapist" Daryl defended his brother.

"No but his buddy is" Glenn shot back taking a look at Maggie.

"They ain't buddy's no more" Daryl said looking back into the forest at Merle.

"He's our blood" Daryl pointed out taking a look at Rick who is being oddly quite in this situation.

"No he is your blood. My blood my family is here and waiting back at the prison" Glenn stated.

"And you're apart of that family" Rick finally spoke up looking Daryl in the eye.

"No him no me" Daryl suddenly announced.

"What Daryl that's not what we are saying" Maggie rushed out.

"Daryl come on" Glenn said starting to worry.

"It was always me and Merle before this" Daryl stated and started to walk towards the car.

"Daryl come on think about this" Rick ran after him walking beside him.

"You can't ask me to leave him, not again" Daryl said opening the boot of the car and grabbing his bags.

"Daryl please don't leave the group okay" Rick begged.

"Don't leave me" Rick whispered only loud enough for Daryl to hear. Daryl stopped what he was doing and turned his head and looked at Rick with tears in his eyes.

"Rick I can't leave him he's my brother" Daryl stated his eyes starting to water looking at how sad Rick looks.

Rick nodded and the pulled Daryl in for a hug putting his head in Daryl neck. Daryl wrapped his arms around Ricks waist and rested his head on Ricks shoulders.

"I'm sorry" Daryl apologised pulling away from the hug and grabbing his backpack and putting it on.
Rick closed the boot and rested against the car.

"Well I guess I will see you later" Rick said turning to face Daryl when he felt Daryl's lips on his. Rick depend the kiss and placed his hands on Daryl's neck.

"Guess so" Daryl replied when they finally pulled away from each other and noticed everyone's shocked faces.

"Bye Rick" Daryl said placing one last kiss on his forehead.

"Bye Daryl" Rick said watching Daryl walk away towards his brother.

Rick turned around and re-opened the boot and chucked his gun in then walked around the car toward Michone.

"We patch you up and then you are gone" Rick hissed at her then got into the drivers seat and slammed the door resting his head in the stirring wheel.

"He's gunna be a mess without Daryl, the whole group is" Maggie pointed out and she placed her belongings in the boot.

"I know but we've just got to stay strong" Glenn replied closing the boot and climbing into the front seat next to the teary eyed Rick, then they set off back to what they call home.

Meanwhile, Daryl and Merle have been hunting for food for the past 2 hours, when Merle decides to bring up Rick and his old group.

"So what's with you and officer Friendly then?" Merle asks bending down looking at some dear tracks.

"What do you mean?" Daryl asks pretending he doesn't know what his older brother is talking about.
