Possessivness(Merthur)

Arthur's POV

"Merlin!!!" I shouted as I looked over to see Gwiane who was way to touchy with Merlin and was clearly flirting with him. Merlin is mine!
Is he though? He is my servant and nothing else. Nothing else could ever happen between us.

"Arthur?" Merlin said as he came over to me and began undoing my armour.

"How's Gwiane?" I asked harshly as I turned to face him so he could undo my chest plate.

"He's well I believe but also I was wondering whether I could have your permission to have the night off?" Merlin asked which is extremely unusual because Merlin never asks me for anything.

"Why?" I wondered watching his hands against my chest and hoping they would linger in place a bit longer.

"Gwiane has asked me to the tavern tonight I was wondering if it would be okay for me to attend?" Merlin asked me then motioned for me to lift my arms up which I did. I didn't want Merlin to go anywhere alone with Gwiane but I didn't want to seem like an arsehole. Then again I am the King of Camelot so I can do as I please.

"No" I said firmly then noticed Merlin looking at the bottom of my stomach that was on show. I tired not to smirk so he wouldn't know I caught him.

"What why not?" Merlin asked taking a few steps away from me and I immediately took a few steps forward to try and get the closeness back but he kept moving away from him.

"Merlin..." I began but stopped when he interrupted me.

"I do everything for you Arthur everything and you won't even let me have one night off" Merlin exclaimed then scoffed.

"Merlin listen to me you can have the night off but not with Gwiane" I trailed off looking down at the floor.

"You don't want to me to go with Gwiane?" He asked confused.

"No I don't want you to go anywhere with Gwiane" I said angrily then turned around and began my way back to my chambers.

Merlins POV

I stood there dumbfounded as I watched Arthur walked away from me.

"Merlin what just happened?" I heard then saw Gwiane stand in front of me looking as confused as I did.

"I er I have no idea" I said I'm realisation that I had no idea what just happened between me and Arthur.

"What did he say?" Gwiane asked me.

"He said he didn't mind me having a night off but he didn't want me to go anywhere with you" I told him and he smirked knowingly.

"He's jealous and possessive over you Merlin haven't you realised that yet" Gwiane stated and I was confused and in disbelief. Arthur being possessive over me?
I guess that's why he doesn't like me being with he knights when he's not there and doesn't like me being anywhere without him.
Ok so maybe he is possessive.

"Merlin go find him" Gwiane said and I didn't need to be told twice. I ran away from the training ground and up towards Arthur's chambers. After a few minutes of running I made it to Arthur's chambers where I stood outside for a few minutes to catch my breath then knocked on the door.

"Enter" I heard from inside so I pushed the door open and went inside.

"Arthur can we talk?" I said as I walked inside to see Arthur slouched on his chair next to his table.

"Merlin" He sat up not expecting me to be here.

"Arthur I'm sorry" I said walking towards the table and stopping at the opposite side of him.

"Merlin you don't need to apologise it's me who needs to I'm sorry for my..." He began but I knew he wouldn't say it so I will.

"Possessive behaviour" I filled in the gaps for him.

He looked at me shocked but nodded his head in agreement.

"Yes I guess I can be quiet possessive over you at times but that's just because I. I..." He stuttered not being able to finish his sentences.

"I love you" I said for him and his head immediately shot up.

"You do?" He asked in disbelief as he stood up and began walking towards me.

"Yes dollophead" I smiled as did Arthur. He stopped in front of me then gently grabbed my waist to bring me closer to him.

"God Merlin the things you do to me" Arthur groaned then brought me in for a deep kiss.

"I love you Merlin I always have" Arthur said to me then kissed me once again.
