Anchor (Sciam)

Scott's POV

"Liam stop" I heard mason shout from the gym across the other side of the school. I looked up at Stiles and grabbed his backpack strap and began running towards the car park where I could hear Liam's breathing soften and his anger heighten.

"Stiles run faster" I said trying to pull him along but he wasn't moving fast enough.

We rounded the corner and finally made it outside where Liam was stood talking to his old school lacrosse team and he seemed to be keeping ahold of himself pretty nicely.

"I just wanted to say... have a good game" Liam said and held his hand out for Brett to shake but he just laughed in his face. I growled quietly only enough for Liam to hear me and I saw his back tense as he heard me and he knew I was near him.

"Do you think that's going to make it all better, is that what they told you to do in anger management? You wrecked coaches car" Brett snarled at Liam.

"I payed for it" Liam snarled his anger rising up.

"Yeah you're gunna pay for it" Brett snarled back at Liam and that's when I noticed the blood dripping out of his fist so me and Stiles ran over to Liam. I placed one arm over his shoulders and began whispering in his ear whilst Stiles talked to the team.

"Liam calm down you're okay" I said to him and grabbed ahold of his hand to try and calm him down. He put his head into the crook of my neck and inhaled deeply trying to use my scent to calm him down.

"Scott I need to go to the showers and quick" Liam said breathing deeply his eyes glowing gold. I looked up to call Stiles over just in time as he ran back to us and began pushing us towards the locker room so we could get to the showers.

"Are you calm yet?" Stiles asked as we let Liam our from under the cold spray. He stopped but roared again so we had to push him back under to water. After a few more minutes he said he was calm and he turned back to his normal form and he fell to the floor.

"You need to be honest with us Liam" I said looking into his eyes and he grabbed my hand to level himself. He took a deep breath and looked up at me.

"I got kicked out of school they sent me for an evaluation" He told us as he played with my fingers.

"What do they call it?" I asked softly wanting to know so I could help him.

"IED" He said and of course Stiles has something to say about it.

"IED you're literally an IED great you have superpowers to a walking time bomb" Stiles said holding us thumbs up and being sarcastic. I glared at him silently telling him to shut up.

"They gave me some antipsychotics but I don't take them"

"Obviously" Stiles adder unnecessarily.

"Stiles if you haven't got anything useful to say don't say anything" I spat as he wasn't helping this situation at all.

"I can't play lacrosse on it all day it makes me too tired" Liam said looking up at me with his big wide eyes making my heart melt as he did so.

""I should tell the coach you can't play" I said letting go of his hand and standing up but Liam stood up straight away and protested.

"No!" Liam protested.

"Tell coach your leg is still hurting" I said not wanting him to play this game especially not with everything going on at the moment.

"No I can play especially is you're there" Liam said quietly and began blushing. My heart jumped at his words and I brought him in for a hug not caring that he was soaking wet.

"I don't want you to get hurt Liam. You're going to be playing your old school and there's a killer on the team that could be after you" I confessed my fears to him and felt his hands grip my shirt tighter.

"I'm scared too Scott but I'm playing the game I can keep it in control I just need you there" Liam told me pulling back and placing a kiss on my lips then blushing as Stiles was still stood there.
