Stable(JJ Outer Banks)

Blue giggled to herself as she watched JJ practice his aim as he shot a teddy bear. Blue was sat off to the side on the grass as she read her book also wearing ear protection muffs. JJ wouldn't let her sit outside without them on as the gunshots were so loud. Blue began humming a tune to herself as she read her book but was quickly interrupted when she saw Pope rush around the corner.

"JJ!!" Pope shouted trying to get his attention as he walked towards JJ who obviously wasn't going to hear him.

"JJ!!" Pope shouted again walking closer to him and finally caught his attention.

"They know!" Pope stated firmly making Blue confused as to what he was talking about, so she stood up and crossed her arms waiting for the rest of the conversation to draw out.

"What?!" JJ asked as he took of his ear protection looking at Pope in slight concern.

"They know!" Pope stated again.

"Alright, chill bro alright. They don't know shit" JJ said taking a quick glance in my direction then bent over to put his gun and ear muffs down.

"Topper knows I sunk his boat" Pope let out placing his hands on his face and sighing.

"You what?!" Blue let out taking a step towards them. Pope jumped around looking at her in surprise like he didn't know she was there.

"How do you know they know?" JJ asked acting like he wasn't bothered by Pope's panicking.

"Because Rafe and Topper posted outside Hayward's and mad dogged me" Pope let out as he walked around JJ and stood in front of me.

"Calm down and get a grip man, they don't know shit" JJ tried to reason with him.

"They have cameras they could've seen me" Pope raised his voice slightly as he paced back and forth in front of JJ.

"There's no power Pope how could they have seen you?"

"It's figure eight they got generators" Pope stressed as he walked away. "They don't give scholarships to kids who sink boats" Pope panicked as JJ tried to catch his attention. "That's not a good look on my transcript"

"Enough with the regret bro!" JJ shouted as he stood up. "They caved your face in" He rushed out as he pointed to the side of Pope's head.

Once again Blue was confused and shocked as she watched the two of them speak about something only they seemed to know about.

"They hit us, we hit them it's the law of the jungle. Now if any kooks come up to you and ask you if you had anything to do with it, you walk up to them you look them right in the eye and?" JJ said grabbing Pope's shoulder and pointing a finger in his face.

"Deny the living shit out of it" Pope nodded his head.

"That's right!"

"Deny, deny deny" JJ said firmly looking right at Pope. "But just for safety we don't go anywhere without protection" JJ stated taking another glance at me as he pointed down to his gun.

JJ patted the side of Pope's head who just sighed and nodded in agreement.

"Does somebody want to fill me in on what the fuck ya'll are talking about?" Blue finally let out sick of being left in the dark. JJ walked over to her and grabbed her hands rubbing his thumbs over the scabs on her knuckles.

"Rafe and Topper attacked Pope yesterday as we was delivering groceries to the kooks. So we hit them back and Pope took the plug out of Toppers boat to sink it" JJ told Blue hoping she wasn't mad at him for not telling her sooner.
