Breakdown (Jeff Wittek)

Evelyn's POV

"Yo get Jeff out of that house he's been there for ages you two come up to mine later on" David said as he pulled into the garage for the apartment building.

"Yeah will do, thanks for dropping me off Dave see you later" I bid him goodbye as I climbed out of his Tesla and began making my way up to mine and Jeff's apartment.

Me and Jeff have been dating for about 5 months and things have only just been getting serious we've been living together for a few weeks because Jeff didn't want me staying at the apartment I was at as my landlord was really creepy and wouldn't leave me alone. So I've been living with Jeff since whilst I've been looking for a new place to live. We've been taking things pretty slow in my opinion as Jeff didn't want to go to fast because he was scared that I would see something in him I wouldn't like. He was the love of my life and I knew that even after just 5 months, I had never loved someone the way I do with Jeff.

I opened the door and was immediately greeted with Nerf who was happy to see me.

"Hey buddy how's it going?" I asked him as I shut the door placing my bags down before bending down to give him some attention. I listened around the apartment for any sound of Jeff and heard nothing but the shower running. I picked up my bags and placed them in their spot next to our bed before walking into the kitchen to get a drink.

"Hey baby I'm back, David wants us to go over to his place later on he says you've been working to hard and I agree" I spoke loud enough so he would hear me but got no response which I shrugged off to him not being able to hear me over the shower sprays.

Once I had my drink and went over and sat on the couch with Nerf next to me as I scrolled through my Instagram feed.

It had been a good 30 minutes since I had been home and none of Jeff's showers ever take that long on a normal basis so I was getting worried.

"Fuck this" I said standing up and walking over to the bathroom door.

"Jeff baby are you alright ? You've been in there a while" I said and still no response so I decided I was going in.

"I'm coming in" I stated before opening the door and I was met with a sight that broke my heart there and then.

Jeff was sat in the bathtub his head between his legs as he cried with the shower spray hitting his back.

"Jeff baby what's wrong?" I asked tears springing to my eyes in worry of what is wrong with my boyfriend.

"Eve I can't handle it" He sobbed not looking up as my heart broke even more. I began taking off my clothes leaving me in just my underwear before I climbed into the bathtub and sat behind him placing my legs on either sides of him and wrapping my arms around him. I rested my head on his shoulder blade as I listened to the painful sound of him crying which I already never wanted to hear again.

"I'm with you, tell me what's wrong?" I said begging slightly as I wanted to help in any way that I possibly could.

"The hate Eve. It's the hate comments, people slagging my videos, my content, hating on something I had worked on for a long time, people spreading lies about me about us. I can't take it" He explained finally lifting his head to look at me and the pain in his eyes and on his face broke me in two. At this point tears were also coming out of my eyes as I placed a hand on his cheek which he immediately lent into.

"You are the strongest person I know Jeff what you've been through, the obstacles that you've faced and over come are incredible. You've had some hard times in your life you've made mistakes but you will overcome this pain that you are feeling. I know you will. You won't do this alone baby I'm here with you for whatever you need. I love you" I said as tears rolled down my cheeks as well on Jeff's. He leaned in and kissed me gently before he pulled back and rested his forehead on mine.
