Hey people, this chapter is really very special to my heart. I know I haven't been regular in updating but when you're trying to be an engineer and at the same time you love to write, one can get torn between the two things. Now I think I'll stop talking about me and let you enjoy this chapter.

Jennifer's POV

"... so you all have to actually use the first defactorisation formula to solve this sum. It's pretty much a simple exercise, so all of it is for homework."

A chorus of groans sounded across the class. I didn't understand why people hated trigonometry so much. I actually loved mathematics. I copied everything that our teacher told us, made small notes so that I could explain everything to Rogan without leaving out anything.

It had been two days since he didn't attend school. He was coming from tomorrow so I was actually going to his house today so that I could give him my notes and help him with the homework. I was excited to see him after such a long time.

Michael gave me his address during lunch. I could find my way to his house pretty easily. My legs tapped against the metal desk, impatiently waiting for the last lecture to get over so that I could meet him as soon as possible. The bell rang and I dashed out as soon as the teacher exited the room. As much as I was desperate to meet him, leaving the room before your teacher does, did seem a bit unrespectful.

My legs walked as fast as I could to the bus stop. I knew where Rogan got off so I could get off at the same place. I removed the tiny sheet on which I had written his address. As I guessed, it was quite easy to find his house. As I stood in front of it, I marvelled at the look of it.

His house was the same size as that of mine but it was so much more clean. Don't get me wrong, me and my brothers kept our house tidy but this was completely different. As I entered through the front gate, I noticed that his mother had created a mini-garden in the backyard. It looked so nice.

I rang the door bell, suddenly feeling really anxious. My feelings for Rogan were completely a mess right now. I knew I felt things I never felt before but I was afraid to discover those feelings. What if in the end things didn't work out the way I wanted them to. What if I got hurt, emotionally? What if I hurt someone unintentionally?

My thoughts were cut short by the door opening. My eyes were focused on the middle-aged woman standing in front of me. She had shoulder length brown hair and her big, brown doe eyes reminded me of Rogan. This, most certainly, must be his mother.

"How may I help you miss?" She asked me.

"Uhmm... Hi!"

Great conversation!

I cleared my throat and continued.

"Hello, my name is Jennifer and I'm here for Rogan. I was going to bring him his notes."

"Oh yes, right. He told me about you." She told me with a warm smile on her face. It instantly reminded me of my mother.

No, not now. You don't want to emotionally break down in front of her.

"Where should I go?"

"Take the stairs and the room to the right is Rogan's."

"Okay, thanks."

"Wait, you don't mind removing your shoes in here, do you?" She asked me doubtfully.

"Oh, no problem."

"It's just that I have a thing about cleanliness, that's all."

Bingo for cleanliness!

I smiled at her.
