Hi peeps, I'm here again. So, this sunday was my physics test and it didn't go that good. Trust me, I'm not one of those bimbos who hate studying. Actually I love math, but physics is just a little too much to handle.
Anyways, even this chapter will be written in a range of days. So hopefully it'll be long enough. Enjoy!
Jennifer's POV
I heard a soft voice trying to wake me up. I shifted, thinking that I was in my bed. But I wasn't. As my eyes fluttered open, the corners of benches came into view. I tried to go deeper into my pillows, dismissing this view as one of my many dreams.
I did dream a lot, nowadays.
"Hey, you're awake..." Rogan gently caressed my face with his hands.
It was then that I realised that my pillow wasn't actually a pillow, it was Rogan's lap. I got up slowly since my head was still aching. My hand held my throbbing head and an aching face. Aaron did slap me hard.
"What happened?"
"Uhmm... It's my cheek, it's hurting."
"Why?"
"A-Aaron slapped me on the face and..."
"And what?" Rogan was getting angrier by the minute.
"He punched me in the stomach." A tear rolled down my cheek.
"That bloody asshole! I'm gonna kill him right this moment."
"Don't." He gave me an incredulous look before I continued. "I don't want any more drama over me."
He sighed. "You really are one of a kind."
He looked at me with adoration in his eyes. These days, I had missed this look so much. All the while I thought that he need me anymore. That I was worthless to him. That thought alone made me cry. My dried eyes welled up with unshed tears, again.
"Hey shush, why are you crying again?" Rogan panicked.
"I just... I didn't think that you would look at me with adoration in your eyes again."
"I'm sorry for hurting you." His voice was so remorseful.
"It's okay."
The bell rang, bringing me out of my happy bubble. We were still in high school. I glanced at my watch. It was quarter to one. Which meant we had only fifteen minutes left until lunch began.
"For how much time were we in here?" I asked him.
"I think around a couple of hours or so..."
My eyes widened. "I was sleeping in your arms for two hours?"
"Yeah, why?" He waved it off as if it was nothing.
"Rogan, you could've been so uncomfortable!" I exclaimed.
"But I wasn't."
"Yeah, I'll believe that. You had me in your arms while you were sitting stiffly against a bench? For two whole hours!"
"I won't ever be uncomfortable while comforting you." He said it with such conviction that I was overcome with emotion. An emotion called love. So I did the only sensible thing any person would do. I smiled like a crazy person before putting my hands around his neck and pulled him closer to me. My lips touched his moments later.
It was one of those moments when one second you are completely drained out of energy and then something happens. That something installs you with a tremendous amount of energy. This was my condition. I felt like crap before. But now I was energized like I gulped down a gallon of water.
