This one will be in Rogan's POV. I wanted to do something different. Anyways, this is the third-last chapter. Finally my baby will be completed!

Rogan's POV

I tried to adjust the tie around my neck but the damn thing won't fix.

"Mom, come up here, please!"

Padding of feet followed and my mother's face popped into my room.

"You still don't know how to fix a tie? When will my son ever grow up?"

"When will my mother ever grow tired of drama?" I let a gush of air out for effect. Which resulted in my head being smacked.

"We're going to be late because of your tie."

"Jennifer hasn't left her house yet. She'll call me when she does."

A smile graced my mother's lips. It was one of those rare ones which indicated that she was happy.

"I'm so happy for you. You deserve that girl."

"I'm entirely sure. I feel like she's hiding something from me. She seems distant nowadays."

"Talk to her about it. Everything will unpuzzle on it's own."

"Thanks mom." I hugged her tightly and together both of us went downstairs.

Dad was ready with the car and we drove down to my school. On my way, my mind was boggled with thoughts of my girlfriend. Two weeks back, we went on our first date and a couple followed. I still remember when she suggested the NYU. I wasn't sure whether I'd qualify or not.

There she stood in a beige skirt and a black sleeveless shirt. Dang it, she looked utterly beautiful.

Your whipped!

But something seemed different. She looked extremely thin, a little too much. Maybe she lost her weight. I mean, girls did have some sort of fitness goals to achieve. A diet could be the reason behind it. Could've been that she wanted to lose those pounds for our graduation. But my girl wasn't one of those utterly serious about maintaining their figure though.

I was greeted by a small kiss on my lips. "Hey there lover boy, don't you look handsome today."

"Eh, you don't look so bad yourself." She pouted, damn those lips of her. I just wanted to dive in and keep kissing her till the end of the world. Maybe not that much. Her brothers would've a fit and punch me straight in the face. In these days, I visited her house. It wasn't different as compared to mine. Typical, standard American two-storeyed house. What surprised me was that she maintained it all by herself. Of course she called cleaners from time to time but still. It was amazing.

Her brothers were cool too. They did scare me at first but I guess it was meant to be a joke. They warned me about hurting their little sister. Externally I hastily nodded my head but my heart fawned over the endearment they had for her. A little shake brought me out of my thoughts.

"A little lost?" Jennifer asked me.

I decided to be cheesy. "Always. In you." I nuzzled my face in her hair, breathing her in. Trailing kisses along her neck, this time I moved up. I was about to give her a kiss of the century but was abruptly stopped when she placed her hand in between.

"Hey. You just had to ruin my moment."

"No messing around with my makeup."

So I just gazed into her eyes, taking in that green colour. But nearly all good things had to end.

"Love birds, we've got a graduation to attend." People say that your best friend is supposed to be the best wingman ever. Not quite so.

"Where did my brothers go?" She asked.
