Hi guys, I'm updating after a long time, guilty. It's been a bit depressing that my book hasn't been getting much reads. But, nevertheless, no one's gonna stop me from completing it. Hopefully, my second book will be noticed more often.

Jennifer's POV

I had to agree, I looked ridiculous. I was donning my flipflops, the ones I brought along with me, wearing my red cocktail dress and had Rogan's coat on my shoulders. He insisted on that one because of the cold. We were going to have supper with his parents. I was so nervous though. It was like a bloody job interview.

"You look hot in my coat."

"Excuse me?" I was surprised by his bluntness.

"What? It was a compliment. The least you can say is thank you."

"Oh I think I can do something better than that." I pulled him towards me and kissed him. His hands snaked around my waist and brought me closer to him.

"God, I can't believe you're all mine." He said, his voice hoarse.

"Why do you make it sound like I'm some sort of an unachievable target?"

"Yeah well, you are. To me. Don't ever underestimate what you mean to me Jennifer."

"What do I mean to you?"

"The world, actually the whole universe. You have no idea."

A tear slipped through my right eye, the way he looked at me, I knew what he said was the ultimate truth. I flung my arms around his neck.

"You know what? I agree, maybe I don't love you as much as you love me, but yeah, I am sure that I love you more than I love myself."

"That's enough for me." We kissed again, my foot went up the way Anne Hathaway's did in Princess Diaries. It felt so surreal.

"We're in my driveway."

"Oh, that was quick."

"Time flies away when I'm with you."

"Is your mother preparing something with cheese?"

"I don't know, why?"

"Because I so can't eat it."

"Huh?"

His scrunched-up face looked so damn cute.

"My boyfriend is really cheesy, I've had enough today."

His chuckle echoed through my ears. He grabbed my face and kissed me on my forehead. Slowly, his hands moved towards mine and he held them.

"I'm so glad you're here with me."

"Trust me, I wouldn't choose to be anywhere else."

"Let's go."

Just as he went to open the door with his keys, I quickly fixed my attire. I put my heels back on myself and looked at the window of their car to check my hair.

"What are you doing?" He asked me incredulously.

"First impression is the last impression."

"Jennifer, they're gonna love you."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Because I love you."

"So your monopoly goes on in your house. Whatever you love should be loved by your parents?"

"Perks of being the only child."

We stepped into his house and instantly I was greeted by the warmth. There were pictures of a small Rogan with his parents, a toothy smile plastered on his face. Another one was of a two year old Rogan cutting his cake, sporting that ridiculous looking cap on his head. It looked cute on him though.
