Chapter 1: Alternate universe

Yasmin's Pov
Ever since we had gotten back from Ninjago, everyone had gone back to normal lives. We have been called to Quarton a couple of times but lately we haven't. Since all the battles were technically over, I decided that I should leave soon. I didn't really want to stay here for the fact because, this place just wasn't my place. I put too many people, my friends and family, through pain so I decided to move. I really didn't know if I was coming back but for now, I wasn't. I also wasn't going to tell the others because I felt that they shouldn't know about what I was doing.

Right now I was packing two suitcases full of my stuff since I was gonna leave soon. I had already finished one and I was halfway done with the second one. As I was packing, Amanda burst into my room. "Wait, what are you doing?" Amanda asked. "Nothing. What do you need?" I asked, putting away the suitcases. "Um, I need you to come with me." Amanda said. "Where are we going?" I asked. "Well, you're going outside." Amanda said and grabbed my hand. She dragged me down the stairs. And when I mean dragged, she literally dragged me down the stairs.

Once we got down the stairs, Amanda let go of my hand and I was now laying down on the floor. "You gonna get up." A voice said and I opened one of my eyes said and saw Chooki towering over me. "Hm, nope. The floor just happened to replace my bed right now." I said and closed my eye. "Come on, get up." Chooki said. "Nah, but if you could, just be quiet for a moment." I said. I heard feet walking away so I kept my eyes closed. I assumed that Amanda and Chooki had walked away already.

Soon, I felt cold water dump on face. "What the hell." I said as I sat right up. "Well, now she actually got up." Chooki said. I saw that Amanda had a cup of, now poured on me water, in her hand. "I'm gonna so get you." I said and got up. I ran after Amanda before someone held me back. "Come on, you and me are gonna talk." Chooki said and pulled me outside. "Why is everyone either pulling me or dragging me?" I asked. "It was just two people." Chooki said. "You ain't making the situation any better." I said.

"Let's go. Your not so easy to talk to when your mad." Chooki said. "I'm not easy to talk to likewise." I said. "Yeah, that's true." Chooki said. We eventually got to the park and he let go of my hand. "I freaking hate you, you little idiot. I could have walked just fine myself." I said as I kicked him. "Sorry, but I did need to talk to you." Chooki said. "You could have just said that and still not dragged me." I said. "I said I was sorry." Chooki said. "Yeah, I know." I said as we walked.

We walked through the park in silence and now we were walking on a bridge with a small river underneath. "So, what do you want to talk about?" I asked. "Well, I really just wanted to ask you something." Chooki said. "And what might that be?" I asked. "Well..." Chooki said but then our corebricks started to glow. "We gotta go." I said. "Yeah." Chooki said and we both ran off. We went to Mr White's shop but once we got there, everyone was looking at us. "Um, our corebricks aren't glowing like normal." Kaycee said.

"What do you mean?" I asked. She was gonna give me her corebrick when a light blinded us. I didn't know what happened but I know that whatever happened got me knocked out. When I did regain consciousness, I saw that we were still in Benham City. Well, a more destroyed version of it anyways. "Okay, what the hell happened." I said. I looked around and saw everyone waking up. "Is it me or did we just teleport to our own city." Ceylan said. "Yeah, I was thinking the same thing." I said. "Who are you?" Someone said and I looked up to see people that looked familiar. for some reason. One question was definitely on my mind. Where in the heck of a world are we?
