Chapter 15: Dark Powers

Mina's Pov
We all just looked at Eliza in shock. "What do you mean by bye bye." I said. "I mean she will literally destroy us. If her dark powers manipulate her, then she won't be in much control over herself and resisting or fighting her is futile." Eliza said. "So, like you when you kind of nearly destroyed us." Felix said. "You want, I can destroy you here and now." Eliza said. "You can't, I'm your brother." Eliza said. "And one less person to take care of." Eliza said. "Can we focus on the real topic at hand?" Amanda asked.

"Okay, so what do we do now?" I asked. "Joshua could always find an idea." Jeremiah said. "I'm a tech wiz not a mind reader." Joshua said. "So, you use tech wiz stuff and figure out an idea." Jeremiah said. "Its not that easy. Even if we figure out a way to not let her dark powers manipulate her, she might still not be good. You do know that once an idea is thought of, she won't back away from it." Amanda said. "So, we're doomed really." Ceylan said. "No, we just have to think of a well thought out plan." Beni said.

Then Jackson stood up. "Well, while you guys do that. I'm gonna go spy on them." Jackson said. "And how are you gonna do that?" Samantha asked. "Power of shadows. Kind of explains it. Good luck with figuring out a plan." Jackson said and left. "Well, that could help with our plan." Amanda said. "Do you even have a plan?" Joshua asked. "No, but I will think of something." Amanda said. "And while she does that, I'm gonna see if I can figure out a way to not let dark powers mainuplate people." Eliza said and left.

Aston's Pov
I was outside training with Natasha because I needed more training. She was showing me techniques that she learned when she was younger. "Who taught you these techniques?" I asked. "Training. Also, my father taught me. Well, before all this happened." Natasha said. "That's weird." I said. "No, it's having my life being different." Natasha said. "Yeah, that bit makes sense." I said. Then I hit her shurikens away with my shortswords. "You're getting better." Natasha said. "You're getting distracted." I said. "Yeah, I kind of am. The new recruit is someone I don't think is controlled." Natasha said.

Natasha grabbed her shurikens and stood back up. "She isn't a soldier. She's still human. But yeah, she doesn't seem controlled. Especially cause of her powers." I said. "Yeah. I'm gonna see how the new recruit's doing." Natasha said. "She still is a human, not a soldier." I said. "Okay, you coming or not?" Natasha asked. "Sure." I said. We walked to where Yasmin trains and saw that she was alone. But we didn't go any further because it seemed that she wasn't in a very good mood. Not that she ever is since she joined the team.

We watched her train when she clutched her head. "She seems to be in pain." I said. "Yeah." Natasha said and started walking towards her. I saw black flames around her hand. "Natasha, stop. Something ain't right." I said. Natasha didn't seem to hear me, or ignore me. Before Natasha got close to Yasmin, Yasmin had pushed her back with black flames and she seemed to have silver lining on her skin. "Natasha." I said, looking at Yasmin. "Yeah, we have to tell Yuri about this. This isn't something we've seen." Natasha said and got up.

We went into the base and closed the door. We went to Yuri's main office and opened the door. "I freaking told you guys to knock on the freaking door. Especially because I could be in my training room." Yuri said. "Normally we would listen but this important." I said. "What happened this time?" Yuri asked. "Well, the new team member doesn't seem to be in a good mood. And by that, we mean that Yasmin had black flames around her hands. She had silver lining on her skin and she surrounded her self in some dark force." Natasha said.

Yuri looked at us in surprised. "This just happened?" Yuri asked. "Yes." I said. "Crap. I thought she would be able to control her powers." Yuri said. "What's going on?" I asked. "Well, since Yasmin is my opposite version then she has my powers. And we both have dark powers. Well, Elliot also does too meaning that Eliza does. And dark powers can mainpulate. To the point where the dark powers practically control their mind. Elliot's phase has already been done and so has mine. Don't know about Eliza's. But Yasmin has less control since she's a lot more angry." Yuri said.

Natasha's Pov

This was new information. "So, what do we do?" I asked. "Tell everyone on the team to not go near her and tell Elliot to come here." Yuri said. "Sure." Aston said and we left. "Well, this is weird." I said. "Tell me about it, I thought that dark sides were bad, not like this." Aston said. "Let's do what we're told." I said. "Okay, we'll split up because this freaking base is really large." Aston said. "Okay." I said. We both and went and told everyone that to not go near Yasmin and I told Elliot to go to Yuri's head office.

I went back outside and saw that she was still in her dark power fortress, or whatever to name it. I didn't go near her but I was here to make sure that she didn't kill anyone, or herself. I knew I shouldn't care but Yuri won't let me do anything about it. As I watch her, I saw her move so fast it was like a flash and she grabbed someone by the neck at the wall. I looked that way and saw that Jackson was caught by his neck. "So-called shadow master decides to make an appearance." Yasmin said.

As she said and I saw a dark power in her eyes. "What the hell happened to you?" Jackson asked. "Nothing. But I'm giving you ten seconds to leave this building, get back to your friends before I destroy you because I would like to destroy you all at the same time." Yasmin said. "Are you being serious?" Jackson asked. "I don't joke. Ten, nine, eight..." Yasmin started and Jackson ran away. "And you. I frankly don't like being watched. So you'd better get inside or else." Yasmin said, looking at me. I ran inside knowing that this ain't normal.

Once I got inside, Elliot came up to me. "So, she scares you?" Elliot asked. "Yeah. I don't normally get scared but it's like she's a whole new person." I said. "Because technically she is." Elliot said. "How?" I asked. "The dark power she has manipulates her mind and she uses those idea. She kind of becomes dark and will kill anything and everything that gets in her way." Elliot said. "Same with you?" I asked. "Yep." Elliot said. "Do you know how to fix it?" I asked. "Nah, the person has to fix it themselves." Elliot said. 

Then Elliot looked at me. "So, why don't you go talk to her." Elliot suggested. "Cause I so wanna die right now." I said. "I understand that. How do you think I became evil." Elliot said. "I thought you wanted some revenge." I said. "That's you. I became evil because of my dark powers. And I haven't regretted it ever since. I like being evil. It makes me feel powerful." Elliot said. "You want power, I want vengence. Makes sense that we are both on the evil side." I said. "Yeah, but you were good before." Elliot said. "And so were you." I said.

Jeremiah's Pov

I was talking with Mina, trying to figure out a plan before Jackson burst through the door. "What happened?" Christine asked. "Well, I tried sneaking there but Yasmin caught me, but she had a dark kind of power around her and silver lining around her skin." Jackson said. Eliza had heard that and came into the room. "Silver lining on her skin and dark power?" Eliza asked. "Yes, why?" Jackson asked. "Her dark powers are manipulating her." Eliza said. "So you're saying that her dark powers are now manipulating her." Joshua said. "Yes." Eliza said.

I had a bad feeling about this. "So, we have no plan against this yet?" Chooki asked. "Yes, we have no plan because I didn't think that this would happen so fast. That's three bad things today." Eliza said. "Yeah, Chooki being crazy enough to try a surprise attack. Then them attacking us all and getting part of Yasmin's energy. Then there's the whole Yasmin's dark powers manipulating her." Alexia said. "I wasn't being crazy." Chooki said. "Okay, I'll believe that when you try to attack them, and come back without and scratches." Alexia said.

"Okay, instead of trying to argue, how about we think of a plan." Beni suggested. "I'm good with that suggestion." Jocelyn said. "Same." Mike said. "So, waht's the plan for this?" I asked. "Well, we could transfer her dark powers to me." Eliza said. "We are not doing that again. After what happened the last time we had did that, I don't think anyone wants to see you do that ever again." Felix said. "I've gotten better at controling my powers." Eliza said. "Well, that's not as bad as the three things that happened today." Mina said. Then we heard a crash. We all ran outside to see all of the baddies in front of the base. "Change that to four." I said as I saw Yasmin with the silver lining on her skin. And her clothing changed to black. "We're dead." Felix said.
