Chapter 14: Energizer

Kaycee's Pov

We all looked at Amanda. "So, how does the plan go?" I asked. "When Felix gets the energy, then I will be able to know what's going on. Yasmin's energy is really strong so that's why we actually need to capture it. Also, she is gonna kill me for even thinking of this plan." Amanda said. "So, what's the other part of the plan?" Joshua asked. "Well, I need to grab her energy and it ain't like grabbing a cup and holding onto it." Felix said. "And that means?" Kewei asked.

"That means that I need someone strong enough to distract Yasmin long enough for me to get her energy." Felix said. "Or some people." Eliza said, looking at Midnight and Nightmare. "Wait, you're not considering..." Nightmare started but Felix interrupted him. "Yes, we need you and Midnight to distract her." Felix said. "She's got all our powers, how are we going to do this?" Nightmare asked. "But we have one advantage." Midnight said. "And that is?" Nightmare asked. "We have shadow dragon powers." Midnight said.

Nicole's Pov

Miguel and I were outside, training against each other since we had our shadow dragon powers. "Okay, you need to focus on using the shadows to your advantage." I said. "Okay." Miguel said and summoned his shadows.  He tried controlling them and they went outta control again. And one of them hit into Yuri's personal training room. "You mother..." Yuri started but Joanna interrupted him. "No swearing." Joanna said. Yuri said some colourful words. "Sorry, he still needs to learn how to control his powers." I said. "It's fine. Nicole, I want you to go check up on the newbie and see how she's holding up." Yuri said. "Okay." I said and teleported to where Yasmin trained now.

"Sup." I said as I saw Charlotte, Elliot, Teresa and Isaac there with her. "Hey." Yasmin said. "What's going on?" I asked. "I'm teaching them how to do a quick weapon change." Yasmin said. "Oh, like this." I said and summoned a dagger. I hit it at a target then summoned up a spear and hit onto another three targets. "Same power?" Yasmin asked. "Yeah." I said. "Everyone, we need to go. We're attacking again!" Yuri yelled out. "Let's go." Charlotte said. "I don't think this is a good idea." I said. "Neither do I." Yasmin said.

We all went to the front of the base and ran or flew to the goodie's base. We got there and saw that the goodies still didn't have any defence. "They don't know how to keep their defences up." I said. "Let's give them a warm welcome." Yuri said. We all sent an attack that probably shook the entire base. "Why the beep are you beeping guys attacking." Joshua said. "Not allowed to swear?" Andrew asked. "Yeah." Joshua said. "Don't talk to them, attack them." Yuri said. Midnight and Nightmare both went to attack Yasmin. "Finally, some competition." Yasmin said.

Yasmin had to fight Midnight and Nightmare and that left Miguel and me with no one to fight. "So, what do we do now?" Miguel asked. "Nothing really." I said. I watched the fight go on and as I watched Nightmare and Midnight fight Yasmin, I realized something. Nightmare and Midnight were distracting Yasmin and Felix wasn't fighting. Felix's power is to be able to take energy, change it or control it. He was trying to take Yasmin's energy. I jumped off of the building and teleported to Felix. I got him by the hands and held them behind his back.

"What are you doing?" Felix asked. "I saw right through your plan. Don't think I don't know. Now you can't take Yasmin's energy." I said. "Crap." Felix said. Then Miguel appeared next to me. "So, what did he do?" Miguel asked. "Trying to steal Yasmin's energy for some reason." I said and got my shadow monsters to hold him down. "Let go of me!" Felix said. "And why should I. You were trying to take Yasmin's energy. Probably to get her back to good. Just face it already, she's bad now and there's nothing you can do about it." I said.

Felix struggled against my shadow monsters. "So, this is what happens." Miguel said as Felix struggled. "Just give up. Once this battle is over we'll let you go." I said. "No. Yasmin will stop you. She's not a bad person. She's a good person." Felix said. I started laughing. "A good person. Do you see her right now. She's in it to destroy all of you. I don't know what happened but this is the best step up we've had. She won't go back to the good side." I said. "Not if I have anything to do with it." Someone said and I turned around so fast people would have thought I got whiplash.

Miguel's Pov
Nicole turned around and I saw Chooki jumping down from a building to attack her but I blocked his attack. "I got this." I said and got my swordstaff out. "You haven't controlled your powers properly." Nicole said. "So, this is practice." I said and went to attack Chooki. "I'll do whatever I can to get Yasmin back to good." Chooki said. "And well, its more her choice than yours." I said. "She's not evil and she knows it." Chooki said.

I just looked at him with a sinister look. "I don't think that's your choice. Everyone's capable of controlling themselves but some people just fall victim into other traps. Or, they just don't control themselves enough to not be evil." I said and went to attack him again. "So then why do you care if she's evil?" Chooki asked. "I don't, I just like having new members who are capable of having a defense." I said. "I'm gonna kill you." Chooki said and went to attack me again. "I don't think that's your position. Remember your good. Your not supposed to kill anyone. Or maybe, your just going darker." I said.

Chooki then stood there for a minute. "Pondering if I'm right or wrong, eh." I said. "You are not right." Chooki said and went to attack me again. "Well then, if I'm not right then why do you wanna kill me so much. If I'm correct I wasn't the one to do anything to you. You just wanna let your anger out on me." I said. "You are not right because you're evil." Chooki said. He then sent a lightning bolt at me but I dodged it. "Can't get me." I said.

Chooki then just looked at me. "Who said I was aiming for you." Chooki said and I looked behind me to see the lightning bolt head straight for Nicole. "You son of a..." I said but just stopped the lighting bolt with one of my shadow monsters. But because it did split and one of them hit Nicole, her shadow monsters holding down Felix disappeared and she was injured. Felix was able to get some of Yasmin's energy but she noticed. "Oh, you think that is fine with me. Think again." Yasmin said and sent a sound wave, knocking every good person down.

I got to Nicole and saw that she had a gash across her arm. Yasmin now was attacking most of the goodies and I don't think anyone wants to mess with her right now. "I'll kill him..." I said but didn't finish. "Don't bother. Plus, it's good to be a half shadow dragon." Nicole said and closed her eyes for a second. When she did open her eyes, a shadow dragon was hovering above her head. "Now, let's show these pathetic people of the good people what true power can do." Nicole said and I nodded.

Luke's Pov
I was fighting when we were all knocked down. I got up fast enough to see what was happening. Yasmin was fighting everyone on my side and Nicole had a shadow dragon flying above her head. Nicole had sent the shadow dragon right for Midnight and Nightmare. "Midnight, Nightmare, look out!" I yelled out to them. They saw and jumped out of the way just in time. "Thanks Lil bro." Nightmare said. "We're freaking twins." I said. "You two gonna keep arguing or you wanna die." Midnight said. "Yeah, we're okay." Nightmare and I said at the same time.

Yasmin then sent us all flying into different places. After that, she and her new team had taken off to their base. "Ouch." I said and got up. "Yeah, let's head into the base." Nightmare said. We all went into the base and sat down in the main base area. Some people had gotten cuts and scars so Amanda was helping them first before we discuss our next course of action. After she was done with her job, she sat down next to Joshua and Termin. "Okay, Felix, you grab some of her energy?" Amanda asked.

Felix looked at her. "Yes I did. And no it is not as easy as taking candy from a baby. Its really hard. And controlling that type of energy is harder." Felix said. "Do you see any form of sense in her. Anything that could help?" Amanda asked. "She's mad. But also, her dark side wants to take over. But, her mind still wants to stay evil. That's all her energy has." Felix said. "So, that means she's mad about something." Amanda said. "Or at someone." Termin said. "I tried to apologize. She wouldn't listen." Chooki said. "Then find a way to get her to understand." I said.

"He's actually right, for once." Nightmare said. "I will kill you." I said. "Try me." Nightmare said. "Okay, so, remember the time when we were..." I started but he interuppted. "So, what are we going to do?" Nightmare asked. "Well, she needs to know that she's good and understand that she'll hurt people if she's evil." Amanda said. "Easier said than done." Eliza said. "And why is that?" Joshua asked. "Out of all of her powers, she's also got dark ones. The ones that go out of control and manipulate the person. If she uses them wrong, then we all might wanna say bye bye." Eliza said.
