Chapter 25: Fighting Evil Yasmin

Kai's Pov

I decided that the people I worked with were crazy. They expected me to fight with the goodies. No way. But, I have to listen to Yuri, he is my boss.

I didn't understand why Yuri wanted to team up with the goodies. They just wanted to help this pathetic girl while we wanted to destroy her. 

I looked at my group I had to fight with, Katie, Ash and Ashley. I didn't mind fighting with Ashley, it was the fact that I was fighting with two goodies that angered me.

Yasmin had just sent out these things I think they were shadow monsters or something like that. I looked around as I killed a few shadow monsters.

I knew the goodies were trying to get Yasmin to come to her senses but she wasn't listening. I would have hurt her but I can't cause Yuri ordered us not to.

I was starting to get bored since I couldn't kill anyone. "I want to bloody kill someone." I said. "I know, but you know what Yuri said." Ashley said. 

"I bloody freaking know. But why would Yuri want to team up with the goodies?" I questioned.  "I don't really want to know. It's Yuri we're talking about." Ashley said.

"Would you two quit talking and fight!" Ash yelled out. "You're not our boss." Ashley and I both said. "If you two don't start fighting, it will be the last battle for either of you." Ash said, a dark aura emitting from him.

"Sheesh, he can be more evil than us." I said. "Which is saying something. Anyways let's just fight I just want this to be over." Ashley said. Then I saw Yasmin send these shadow arms and grab a bunch of people.

She then trapped those people she grabbed into weird crystals. "You all let your guards down. Now, let's see how long it takes before they die from no energy." Yasmin said.

"Die!" Katie yelled in shock. "Yes, die. But don't worry their last image will be of you guys. How spectacular, what an honor." Yasmin said with a sinister smirk. "We got to get them back." I said.

"I thought you hated us goodies." Katie mentioned. "I do. But some of those people are my friends and team. Don't think I want them to die." I said.

"Okay fine, I get that. Anyways, I got a plan. From what I know, Yasmin will try to attack people who are attacking her so, we have to get some other people to attack her." Katie said.

"And what. Are we seriously going to try and free them. We don't know how to break those crystal prisons. And what if she notices." I said.

"We'll make sure she doesn't notice. Anyways, I gotta go see who could help." Katie said. She left and talked to a few people. Oh great, what am I supposed to do.

I kept fighting to keep Yasmin distracted for a bit until Katie had gotten people to help out with the stupid plan. 

Sam's Pov

I was fighting Katie came up to me. "We need help with getting the others out of the crystal prisons and I think you should help." Katie said.

"Why me?" I asked. "Just cause, let's go." Katie said and dragged me away. We met up with a little group. Three were Elliot, Kai and Miki while the other three were Eliza, Mike and Samantha.

"Okay, so what's the plan?" I asked, clearly bored already. "Four of us distract Yasmin by attacking her and the other four go and try to free the others from the crystal prison." Katie said.

"Sure." Kai said. "As long as I'm fighting." Elliot said. Samantha, Kai, Katie and I were gonna free the others while the others were fighting. 

We all separated and the distracters attacked Yasmin. She seemed genuinly annoyed at the fact that she was being attacked. But she seemed to be growing stronger.

It seemed she was consuming the energy from people she trapped. "I don't think it's gonna work." I said. "Why?" Samantha asked.

"Don't worry about it." I said. We all went and tried to figure out a way to get them to escape. Kai tried attacking the crystal prisons but it didn't work.

Katie tried to pry the prisons open but that didn't work. Samantha tried to shoot it but that obviously work. I looked around and saw that their energy was getting worse.

"Stop." I said. "Why?" Kai asked. "Trying to break these things or pry them open is making it worse. It's making the process faster so if you wanna kill them then fine, keep going." I said.

"So, what do we do?" Katie asked. "We need to get that little crystal pin on Yasmin's shirt. If we do, we can destroy it. Obviously she would have something to keep the crystal prisons up." I said.

"How do you know all of this?" Kai asked. "After a few times of understanding Yuri, I think I can compare them with a few things and both have the ability to keep things in little, secrets." I said.

"Quite the observer." Samantha said. "Yeah, and let me guess, you're not." I said. "Yeah, I plan, not observe." Samantha said. 

"Wow, that's nice." I said. "So, how are we supposed to get it?" Katie asked. "I don't know. Aren't you her friend. Aren't you supposed to know her more." I said.

"Okay, we are friends but we met in the most weirdest way. We just bumped into each other."  Katie said. "Let's not talk about that, let's figure out a way to get that crystal pin." Kai said.

We got back down and saw that Yasmin had stopped attacking. "Hm, I know I should be attacking but your little friend is trying to fight back so, I'm out." Yasmin said and left.

She had taken the others that were in the crystals with her. "So, what do we do. We can't just go after them and attack because we'll hurt one of them." Vincent said.

"And if we don't, they'll die from their energy being taken." Toby said. "So, what are we supposed to do?" Tora asked. 

"Did anyone get close enough to see a crystal pin on Yasmin?" I asked. "Yeah, I saw one." Amanda said. "Good, so I know how to get the others out." I said.
