Chapter 11: Fights

Nikki's Pov

We got Stephen and Cedric out and went back into the base. "So, we had an eventful day. What now?" I asked. "I'm gonna train for a while." Yasmin said. "I'm gonna look into the blueprints of the teleporter." Mabel said. "And I'm gonna help her." Cedric said. "No you are not. I will trap you down into the tunnels again." Mabel said. "I'll help her." Madeline said. Then those three left. We eventually all had something to do. I had left to train too since I needed it the most. At least that's what I thought.

I trained for the rest of the day. Everyone else who also decided to train had gone inside and now I was left outside. I kept training until it got dark. "So, you gonna keep training or you gonna come inside." Someone said and I turned my head to the side to see Blaze. "Well, I could go inside but I also could keep training and get better." I said. "Well, if you've trained so much, then you wouldn't have a problem fighting against me, would you." Blaze stated. "Bring it." I said. "Good." Blaze said and got out his double spears.

We stood facing each other and in our starting position. "You can back out if you like." Blaze said. "And lose the one opportunity to prove you wrong, no way." I said. "Fine." Blaze said. We had started fighting, my falchion against his double spears. We blocked each other's attacks and kept attacking each other. "You've gotten better." Blaze said as I dodged his attack. "Thanks. Now I know that I can match you." I said. "Yeah, but you don't know all my attacks." Blaze said and tried swinging for my legs but I jumped. "I beg to differ." I said.

I had tried to get him to the stomach but he blocked it. "Yeah, but you're too predictable." Blaze said. He had caught my hand and now we were in a very weird position. "Oh, am I predictable now?" I asked. "Yes, and you'll always be." Blaze said. "Predict this." I said and kicked him onto the floor. I pointed my falchion to his neck. "So tell me, am I predictable now?" I asked. "You win. But you've gotten better." Blaze said and I helped him up. "Thanks. I have trained to beat you the most." I said. "And why is that?" Blaze asked.

"Hm, let me think. You have beaten me at every fight we have ever gone through. I don't know how you do it but you do. Also, because it's fun to try and beat you." I said. "Now I know that you can get better." Blaze said. "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked. "Nothing." Blaze said. "Tell me what it means." I said. "It just means that you've been holding back. You don't want to hurt anyone but do when it's needed." Blaze said. "Everyone deserves a chance but sometimes, I just can't help it." I said. "Okay." Blaze said.

Blaze's Pov

Nikki and I walked in and Nikki went to talk to her brother. I sat down and started to think. Then Rose came up to me. "So bro, what's on your mind?" Rose asked. "Nothing important." I said. "I know you well enough to know when you're lying, now tell me, what's wrong." Rose said. "Okay, since you won't stop pestering me." I said. "I don't pester." Rose said. "Okay. Nikki and I had fought to train and every other time we train, well, she doesn't really try to fight but today, she actually tried and beat me." I said.

"Maybe it's because she beat you. That's got you worried." Rose said. "No, it's not that. I think she holds back because she's afraid of hurting anyone." I said. "It could be anything." Rose said. "Yeah." I said. "Hey guys, it's getting late. I think we should be going to bed." Nikki said. "Yeah, we need to be prepared for tomorrow in case anything happened." Nathan said. "Or if another attack happens." Christine said. "Or that." Ceylan said. "Okay, let's get to sleep." I said getting up. I went to the guy's room and went to sleep.

*time skip to the next day*

The next day, I woke up pretty late and went to the main base room. Once I got there, I felt as if something wasn't right. I sat down on one of the couches and watched the conversations go on. "You woke up later than normal." Nikki stated. "I always wake up late." I said. "Well, now you do, at the other base, you were one of the first people to wake up." Nikki said. "Yeah, but after moving back in with Rose, I kind of slept in more." I said. "I can tell." Nikki said.

Nikki and I talked for a while until we heard arguing. "At least I know how to control my anger." Chooki had said. We all turned our heads to that way. "Oh, I can't control my anger. At least I know how to protect myself." Yasmin said. "We all can protect ourselves quite good." Ceylan said. "Oh shut up jokester." Yasmin said. "What's so bad about jokesters?" Christine said. "They're annoying and they talk too much." Eliza said. "At least they talk." Toxsa said. "What's so bad about being quiet?" Isabelle asked and that's how the fight happened. Everyone was against everyone.

"We actually are social." Jewel said. "There is nothing bad about being anti-social." Annabelle said. "Who wants to be around an anti-social person." Maddison said. "At least our heads aren't on a screen all the time." Beni said. "At least we didn't try to kill the good guys." Alexia said. "Okay, we aren't pretending to be someone we're not." Yasmin said. "You're one to talk. You're the one who practically disguised herself as someone totally different." Chooki said. "And I've made sure none of you has died." Yasmin said. "Well, you almost got your sister killed." Chooki said. "Yeah and I've almost died so you wouldn't die, twice." Yasmin said.

Termin's Pov

Now, the fight had gone back to the two people who had started it. Mariam and Jackson weren't participating because Jackson didn't want Mariam involved because she still hadn't gotten her memory back. "Yeah but at least we can control our anger long enough so we don't go evil." Chooki said. "Okay. I have anger issues. I had almost died. I have disguised myself for a while. I've been evil. I've lost my memory once. I've almost killed you guys. My sister almost died because of me. I know all these things, you don't need to remind me." Yasmin said as she stepped back.

"Wait." Chooki said but Yasmin already ran out the base. Chooki ran after her and Amanda, Joshua, Guren and I went outside. "Why should I wait. I've hurt you so why am I even here. Maybe I should just leave." Yasmin said. "Maybe you should. Running away makes you weak." Chooki said. "Fine. I thought we were friends." Yasmin said and her wings appeared. "No, that's not what I meant." Chooki said. Yasmin looked at him.

"Then what did you mean. Did you mean for me to die? Did you mean for me to not come back when I did? I think you meant all of that and more. Bye." Yasmin said and flew away. "I really screwed up this time." Chooki said. "Screwed it up, you turned it upside down now." I said. "I have to agree with Termin on this one." Amanda said. "What am I going to do now?" Chooki asked. "I have no idea but you are gonna have to apologise somehow." Joshua said. "Yeah, if she comes back." Guren said. "She'll come back. Hopefully." Amanda said.

Blake's Pov

I was talking with Celia when there was a bang at the base's door. "What the heck was that?" Celia asked and we all ran to the base's door. "So, what brings one of the leaders of the good guys?" Yuri asked the person there. "I'm willing to work for you guys." Yasmin said.
