Chapter 38: The actual end

Yasmin's Pov
I felt Yuri plunge his sword into my stomach. I looked at him as I coughed up blood. I made an illusion that I had looked fine. I looked at Yuri as I continued to fight. I felt blood from the gash start to fall. I pushed through the pain.

Everywhere on my body, blood was pouring from cuts and gashes I had. The ones that Chooki had caused were under my eye and on my left arm. I was glad to have him in control though.

"Yasmin, are you okay?" Chooki asked as he ran up to me. "Yeah, I'm fine." I said. "You sure?" Chooki asked. "I promise, I'm okay." I lied as I smiled at him. Lies and empty promises, that's all I can do. "Okay." Chooki said and ran back to his fight.

I watched as he fought Charlotte. I felt bad that I couldn't tell him the truth. He would try to fight for me and I didn't want him too. So, I kept on pushing through the pain. Yuri swung his sword at me and cut my neck just slightly.

He had then hit me on the side. I felt pain but I pushed through it. Yuri pushed his sword on my arms and started pushing through it. I couldn't feel anything. What the hell has been happening. Yuri had hit me on the head.

I felt my head ringing. He kicked me in the stomach, right where my gash was. I coughed up blood again. Then Yuri used his sword to to hit my legs. If I did survive, I would probably be badly injured. I smiled as I continued to fight.

Hit. The back of Yuri's sword came in contact with my neck. Again. It hit against my leg. Yuri pushed me back. Yuri threw me off the building. I used my blade and stuck it into the side of the building. 'Breath.' I thought. But I couldn't.

I looked down and saw that if I fell, then I would die. But I had to take a risk. I let go of my blade and fell. I concentrated for a second. 'Please work. Please work.' I thought. It wasn't working. Well, my death was coming faster than I thought.

Then I started flying. I breathed realizing I wasn't breathing. I sighed. "My wings work again." I said. I flew up and landed on the building. My wings disappeared and I breathed heavily. That took a lot of strength out of me.

"You aren't gonna die, are you." Yuri said. "I have no intentions too." I said. "That's good. Means I can keep killing you." Yuri said. "You can try. Don't know how much good that'll do though." I said. I got out my weapons again.

"Why should I kill you when you're technically killing yourself." Yuri said. And for once, he was right. Everytime I used my powers I keep hurting myself. And since I have the gashes it just makes it worse. "No, I'm good." I said.

I just smiled at him. He ran at me and I brought my weapons up to block it. "Why are you smiling. Do you realise that you're on the verge of death." Yuri said. "Eh, no. I just realised that you're not so strong." I said. I saw Yuri get furious.

He put more power into his attacks. I dodged them as much as I could, occasionally getting hit in the arms and legs. I kicked Yuri and he landed on the ground. But as fast as he landed, he got up even faster. "Oh flipity flop." I said.

Dark's Pov
I felt pain go through my stomach. I felt blood run out of my mouth. I spit it out and looked at Yasmin. I saw her fighting Yuri. But I saw that she had a cut in her stomach and she made an illusion that she seemed fine. "We need to stop her." I said.

"Why. She's fine?" Victor asked. "No she's not. I can feel her pain so I would know. Ah screw it. I'm going to help her." I said. "I'll go with you." Samantha said. We both ran towards Yasmin and stopped. We got onto her building and I ran to Yasmin.

"Yasmin, you're pushing yourself too far. You have to stop." I said. "No, I can't. I have to defeat him. I have to keep fighting." Yasmin said. She looked weak right now. 'Brain stop it.' I thought. "Stop it. You can't keep doing this." I said. "No." Yasmin said and pushed me back.
