Chapter 16: Fears

Issac's Pov

I was standing next to Lucy as we were about to attack. "Why are we fighting the again. This is the second time today. We've had enough complications for a day." Felix said. "Oh shut up you little weak pathetic soul that takes up a human's body." Yasmin said. "Woah, taking it far." Ash said. "I don't frankly like it when people call my brother other than me pathetic because he is a very good person." Eliza said. "Thanks, I think." Felix said as Eliza went to attack Yasmin.

That's when hell broke out. Well, when we started fighting. "This whole fiasco ain't gonna be turning out in any good way." I said. "It never does, this is why we are evil." Lucy said. "True that." I said. "Yeah, anyways, how quick do you think this fight will end?" Lucy asked. "Ten, twenty minutes. Depends on what type of fight it plays out in." I said. Then Isabelle and Luke stopped. "Are you guys already bored or do you want some time to talk?" Isabelle asked. "Oh no it's fine, you guys just don't fight as strong." I said. "Okay." Isabelle said and lunged at me with one of her swords. "I'll give you a fight." Isabelle said.

Isabelle and I fought and she kept hitting me. "Get the bleeping hell off of me." I said. "Also not allowed to swear?" Luke asked. "Are you bleeping kidding me. Get your bleeping girlfriend off of me." I said. "One, she is not my girlfriend, two, you're evil and three, I'm dealing with your girlfriend." Luke said as he was fighting Lucy. "She ain't my girlfriend. We're just friends." I said. "When did this fight turn into a love affair?" Isabelle asked as she got up. "Your opposite version started it." Luke said.

"Let's just fight." I said using my chains and to trap both of them down and swung the chains up high and slamming both of them into the ground. "Finally, something worth bothering to get up in the mornings for." Isabelle said. "Shut up you bleeping mother bleeper." I said. Then it started to rain. "Why the bleep is it raining?" I asked. "What, it never rains here." Luke said. "No, it never rains in a fight." I said. I looked at the other fights and saw that the goodies of one fight was ditched. And they were Nathaniel and Ashlynn.

Ashlynn's Pov

Nathaniel had ran inside the base when it started raining so I ran after him because I knew why he doesn't like being in the rain. "You okay?" I asked. "No." Nathaniel said. "Kind of can tell, you did run inside as soon as it started raining. And in the middle of a fight." I said. "You know exactly why I did." Nathaniel said. "Yeah I do, but you gotta face your fears." I said. "You're one to speak, you have no fears." "You would be surprised actually." I said.

"So, What do I do?" I asked. "You just gotta forget about it. You have family still so be grateful for that. You're not like me, losing my parents at a young age. And I'm sure Mina wouldn't want to know that her overly positive brother is sad about something that she doesn't even know about." I said. "Yeah. I don't want to tell her that we had a younger brother and he drowned himself." Nathaniel said. "Okay, we should head back to the fight so we aren't destroyed." I said. "Yeah, come on Ashlynn." Nathaniel said and we got up.

We both got outside but everyone wasn't really there. Everyone was practically engulfed in some kind of shadow wall. "Finally, the other two people are back." Yasmin said. "What happened?" I asked. "Oh, they're all inside their own fears. Now its your turn." Yasmin said. "But, I already conquered my fear." Nathaniel said to me. "Then I'll just go." I said. "No, I'm going with you." Nathaniel said. "Good luck." Yasmin said and sent this shadow ball and it started to engulf me when Nathaniel stepped in and it started to engulf him too. Once the darkness disappeared, we checked our surroundings.

I knew exactly what my fear was but I didn't want anyone to know about it because a ridiculous fear. "So, you actually have a fear?" Nathaniel asked. "Yeah. Every one of us has a fear or multiple. I have one but, its something that I don't like to tell anyone." I said. "Well, I'm gonna find that out." Nathaniel said. "Yeah, that's just great." I said. "Hey, it can't be as bad as being afraid of water." Nathaniel said. "You have a reason to be afraid of water." I said. "And you should have a reason for your fear." Nathaniel said.

Nathaniel's Pov
Ashlynn and I started walking around this empty void and I got curious on where we were. "Now that I think about it, where are we?" I asked. "We're in my mind. It's the only place where our fears truly are." Ashlynn said. "So, what is your fear?" I asked. "You'll see in a few minutes." Ashlynn said. Ashlynn had walked further than me now and I had to catch up. I then saw some of our friends appear and say some stuff to Ashlynn. Ashlynn fell to her knees with her hands covering her ears.

"Ashlynn, what's wrong?" I asked as I tried to get to her. But our friends were blocking the way. "You're always gonna be lonely." Beni said. They all said something about being lonely to Ashlynn and I started to understand what was going on. "Ashlynn, don't listen to them. They're figments of your imagination." I said. "See even your best friend says that you should disappear." Kaycee said. "I did not say that. Ashlynn, stop listening to them. They're not real. They're caused by your fears deep inside you. Listen to me." I said.

I saw our 'friends keep pestering her so I did the only thing I could think of. Destroy them. I made each one disappear and sat next to Ashlynn. "Ashlynn. They're gone. They were only your fear. Your fear of loneliness." I said. "How did you figure that out?" Ashlynn asked. "I figured it would be your only fear. The fear of being lonely since you had lost your parents when you were young and was only recently reunited with your sister." I said. "Thank you." Ashlynn said as I got her up. "For what?" I asked. "For trying to help me out." Ashlynn said.

I just smiled at her. "Well, you did say that I'm overly positive before." I said. "Yeah." Ashlynn said. "Still haven't gotten over your fear." I said. "No and we can't exit until I have faced my fear." Ashlynn said. "Well, this might take a while." I said. "And why is that?" Ashlynn asked. "Your not a person to change so easily. It took a while for me to make you change your mind to become good." I said. "Yeah, but this is just a fear. No fear is welcomed in my mind unless it isn't invited." I said.

I just rolled my eyes. "Well, let's teach this fear what happens when its not invited." I said. "How, they all look like our friends." Ashlynn said. "They're all fake. Remember, you have a real friend her with you. And if I somehow get transported to the real world. Remember that they are just a fear and they will always be just a fear. You just gotta power through it." I said. "Yeah. You and I are a team." Ashley said. "And no matter what. We'll get through it because you're a strong person." I said. "And your overly positive." Ashlynn said as I smiled.

Lucy's Pov
I watched as everyone of these goody two shoes tried to struggle against their fears. "These people are a bunch of..." Isaac started to say but I stopped him. "Just don't try." I said. "Who said you could tell me what to do?" Isaac asked. "Oh, just the fact that you are one of the most freakishly annoying people here." I said. "What about Miki?" Isaac asked. "Oh, she's way more annoying. Your just as bad as her." I said. "Your also annoying." Isaac mumbled. "No amount of mumbling will ever make what you said less hearable." I said.

"Is that even a word?" Isaac asked. "Yes." I said. "I don't think it is." Isaac said. "If I had the ability, I would shut you up, tie you to a tree and make sure you don't have any way down." I said. "How would you hang me, by the neck or legs?" Isaac asked. "One, shut up, and I would hang you by the legs so the blood can rush to your brain so you can't call out for help." I said. "Well, that's nice." Isaac said.

I just rolled my eyes and looked through each of the shadow walls. "I wish you were like that right now." I said. "Hey." Isaac said. Then I saw one of the shadow walls slowly break. "Oh, one of them is conquering their fear. I wonder who it could be." Yasmin said with a sinister laugh. "Physcotic, awesome." Kai said. Then once the shadow walls of that one person had broke, Chooki had jumped out of it. "Looks like we found our new contendor. Everyone welcome our little test subject, Chooki Mason." Yasmin said with another sinister laugh then looked at him with a red glint in her eyes.
