Chapter 23: Noticing the capture

Kael's Pov
It was morning and I decided to go see the prisoners. I sneaked out of the base, because Yuri is usually up late for some odd reason, and got to the laboratory.

Once I got there, I saw Teresa and Andrew. "You two should get some rest." I said. "Nah, dont need it." Teresa said. "Okay, so, how the prisoners doing?" I asked.

"Good, getting themselves electrocuted but still good." Andrew said. "Thats nice." I said. Then Joanna walked in and saw us. "We're gonna have to tell Yuri." Joanna said.

"Yeah, we kind of figured that bit out." I said. "So, who's gonna tell Yuri?" Teresa asked. "Not me." I said. "I think Joanna and I can handle it. He is our brother." Andrew said.

Andrew and Joanna left to go tell Yuri and Teresa and I was watching over the prisoners. They kept trying to escape the force fields but kept getting electrocuted. 

"They're gonna kill themselves at this rate." I said as I leaned back on my chair. Then Yuri walked in with Joanna and Andrew behind him and I got up from my chair.

"So, you weren't joking. And when did this happen?" Yuri asked. "Yesterday." Joanna said. "Got any information from them?" Yuri asked.

"We got into Amanda's mind and mainframe and got a bit of information but, we aren't allowed to go any further than that since she will die if we did." Andrew said.

"Okay." Yuri said and left. "Well, that went fairly well." I said. "Why can't you let us go. We did nothing to you." Alexia said. Then Georgia walked in. "Not them, but me." Georgia said.

"It's your fault for trying to destroy the worlds." Chooki said. "And it's your fault for interfering." Georgia said. "Are you kidding me." Nightmare said.

"What do you have to say?" Georgia asked. "From what I know, Jackson was the one to start trying to take over the world, then brought you guys into it." Nightmare said.

"And, he was weak anyways." Georgia said. "Well, if it wasn't for him. This all wouldn't have happened, so, I would personally thank him." Nightmare said. 

"What are you trying to say?" Georgia asked. "You'd be useless and powerless if it wasn't for us or Jackson and you depend on other people." Nightmare said.

He seemed surprisingly calm about the whole situation. "What are you so calm about? Don't you hate the fact that you're captured." Marth said as he walked in.

"Of course I hate the fact that I'm captured but I know you guys can't do anything bad to any of us." Nightmare said. "Oh really." Georgia said.

I saw Jake and Nick walk in and take Nightmare out of the force field bubble.  They walked off into a different room. 

"This is not gonna go good. And that's perfect." I said and then went back to the base. And for some reason, Andrew didn't seem to like this.

Jocelyn's Pov

I woke up in the morning to see something oddly, off. I looked around the room and noticed three people were missing. I then proceeded to get everyone up.

I walked to the guy's room and saw that two people were missing. I woke everyone up and we all went to the main base. 

"Okay, why did you wake us up at three in the morning?" Jack asked. George's gang all walked in too. What's going on?" Cedric asked.

"Five people are missing." I said. "They could have just gone outside." Vincent said, yawning. "You really think Chooki, Alexia, Amanda, Isabelle and Nightmare would just go outside." I said.

"She's got a point there. If I know Isabelle, she wouldn't go outside without informing anyone." Termin said. "Okay, then, what's going on then?" Rick asked.

"I've got no idea." I said. Then Midnight clutched her head in pain. "Midnight, what's wrong?" Katie asked. "Nightmare is being tortured." Midnight said.

"How do you know?" Ceylan asked. "Nightmare and her are kind of connected by their shadow dragon powers so, they can feel each other's pain." Luke said.

"Wow, that's kind of cool." Toxsa said. "Really." Beni said. "So, the best situation we have is that they have been captured." Ash said. "Well, we have to go save them." Yasmin said.

"We can't just yet." Joshua said. "What!" Jewel yelled. "Not yet. If we just go in there blindly just trying to save them half of us would be injured." Joshua said.

"So then what do we do. Just stand here and wait. We can't do that. They're being tortured. If Nightmare is being tortured who knows whats happening to the others." Tora said.

"Tora, calm down. We are going to help them." Gen said. "Sorry bro." Tora said. "I know, but we have to plan this out okay." Joshua said.

"I know that this might sound crazy, but let's trust him on this." Kaycee said. "You're right, that does sound crazy." Sasha said.

"Joshua can hack into their system to see what's going on." Mike said. "Yeah, that can help." Victor said. "Okay, so that's what we are gonna do." Christine said.

"Joshua will hack into their system and the rest of us will start devising a plan." Guren said. "Okay, let's get to it." Wakemai said.

"Samantha, where's Chooki?" Kiro asked. "He's gone out for a bit." Samantha said. "We have to get them back soon." Jeremiah said. "Yeah, true that." Mina said.

"And soon. Midnight might not be able to survive all this pain. Just look at her." Mariam said. "I can't believe Georgia would even do this." Jackson said.

"What do you mean? How would it be Georgia?" Roberta asked. "Georgia understands that you guys are going to do something if she captured people and tortured them." Felix said.

"There's a little, clue, that she left. Chooki is Yasmin's childhood friend, Alexia knows Yasmin quite well, Amanda is Yasmin's sister..." Maddison said as she seemed to try and remember.

"Isabelle knows a lot of Yasmin's past and Nightmare has helped out Yasmin a lot." Nathaniel finished. "So, the girl made a big mistake." Mark said.

"Not a bad one, but a smart one. She chose people that has a close relation to Yasmin." Nate said. "But, why not her family?" Annie asked.

"Yeah, she could have just grabbed her entire family and left." George said. "That would just enrage her. If they had done that, we all would be dead." Phoenix said.

"Yeah, he's got a point there." Ashylnn said. "Okay, what would they be doing to them though?" Rick asked. 

"Well, they each have information, don't they." Nicolette said. "Yeah, but none of them would be able to spill it." Annabelle said. "But, what if they don't spill it." Joseph said.

"They could hack into Amanda's system." Eliza said. "But to do that, you have to have great power and that kind of power could kill her." Nikki said.

"But they wouldn't do that, would they?" Jae asked. "You have no idea what they would do." Ruby said. 'Hey guys, you there' I thought, trying to hear if the others could connect.

There was no response. "It seems as if all connection to them is cut off." Rose said. "Our opposites are crazy." Elbert said.

"Almost as if they aren't even our opposites. They doesn't seem like us." Theo said. "Well, opposites aren't always normal." Roman said. 

"Yeah, and all our opposites are insane." Kewei said. "I have a bad feeling about the next few days." Stephen said.

"Okay. So, in case of an attack, we all should prepare." Jacqueline said. "And we should train." Jamie said. "Okay, so let's get to it." Blaze said.

"I'll go get a computer for Joshua so he can hack into their system." Jacey said. "And I'll cook breakfast since we are all up early." Mabel said. 

"I'll get the training equipment." Blaine said. "I'm gonna go stand watch." Madeline said. "I'll stand watch too." Benedict said. 

Everyone left to do there jobs and I went outside to train. I hoped everything was gonna go well and Joshua knew what he was doing.
