Chapter 9: Raid

Stephen's Pov
I walked into the main base are just in time to hear the last thing Yasmin said. "So, what are we gonna be fighting fire with?" I asked. "Check outside." Ash said. I read his mind. "So, Eliza's powers have gone outta control and you want Yasmin to help." I said as I stood in the doorway. "Yeah, how did you..." Ash had started to say but I cut him off. "Power of telepathy." I said. "Play." Ash said. "So, one of you might wanna tell the others because I don't think it would be a good idea to let them find out on their own." I said.

"I'll do it." Felix said and left the room. "So whatcha gonna need?" I asked. "Gonna need a water gun." Yasmin said. I grabbed a water gun from a shelf. "Here." I said tossing it to her. "Thanks." Yasmin said and went outside. "They're arguing now aren't they?" I asked. "Yep." Ash said. "Mabel, you and I have a job!" I yelled out. "Gimme a sec, I'm getting my spare weapons " Mabel said. "What are you two gonna do?" Gen asked as Mabel appeared. "We're gonna raid some baddies " I said as I unsheathed my sword.

"Isn't that a little dangerous?" Ash asked. "Nah, not dangerous enough." I said. I put my jacket on and went outside with Mabel and met with Roberta and Cedric. "So, we all ready?" I asked. "Yep." Roberta said with her axe placed on her shoulder. "Let's go." Cedric said. We opened up our tunnels and started walking and I made sure to close it too. As we walked, I checked on the traps that would go off if someone other than us walked in. We got to the front of the baddie's place. Time to raid it.

Roberta and Cedric climbed in through a window and started looking around. Mabel and I went through another way. Now, when we say we'll raid something, we don't actually raid it. We come her to get more information on the baddies and see if there's anything useful to pick up. Mabel and I kept walking around and we somehow stumbled into their meeting room. Thankfully no one was there. "I thought we only came here for emergencies." Mabel whispered. "Yeah, well, doesn't seem like we have a choice right now." I whispered as we both looked around.

I looked around and didn't see anything that I thought would help us. "Find anything?" Mabel asked. "Except for junk, no." I said. "Hey, what's this?" Mabel asked, picking something up. I looked at it and saw that it was blueprints for a teleporter. "Well, this is gonna be useful." I said and looked through it. "Want me to copy it?" Mabel asked. "Yeah, we don't want them knowing that we were here." I said. She took out her phone and scanned the blueprint. "Let's look around a little more." I said.

Roberta's Pov
Cedric and I had to knock out two people and make them forget that we were here. This wasn't our day. We looked around for anything that we could use. Anything at all. I found a room that was empty. "Hey, you think that this room has anything useful?" I asked. "Not really. There's someone in there and that one will kill us." Cedric said. "Okay, moving on." I said. We walked around and still didn't find anything. "This is pointless. We have tried to raid this place and we never find anything." Cedric said. "We gotta keep trying." I said.

Cedric and I kept walking until I got a small beep. Good thing only I could hear it. "Stephen says that they found a blueprint for a teleporter and to meet them back in the tunnels." I said. "Okay, let's go." Cedric said. We both went back through the window and jumped down. We opened the tunnels, jumped in and closed it behind us. "So, what about the blueprints?" I asked. "Well, let's just wait till we get back because I can't just print them off right now, can I." Mabel said. "A lot of attidue." Cedric said.

"Say that one more time and I'll rip your throat out." Mabel said. "Um, her?" I asked Stephen. "She saw something that reminded her of her past. Not in the best of moods " Stephen said. "Okay, Cedric, knock it off and let's get back to the base." I said. "Okay." Cedric said. We started walking back to the base until I heard a noise. "I swear I keep hearing noises each time we walk through these tunnels." I said. "Are you sure?" Cedric asked. "Yes, if I hear it more than once than of course its here." I said.

"You mean this noise." Stephen said and made the same noise that I've been hearing. "Oh my god. You freaking idiot." I said and started hitting him. "Ouch, and its by accident." Stephen said. "Mabel." I said. "Yes, let's ditch this two." Mabel said. We both ran away and got to the base. We locked the tunnel so they couldn't get out. "Can I see the blueprints?" I asked. "Yeah, just let me print it." Mabel said and went to her room. She came out of her room and showed me the blueprints. "This is the blueprints." Mabel said.

I looked at them and saw that they were for a teleporter to the alternate universe. "We need to show this to Yasmin." I said. "Yeah." Mabel said. "What did you need to show me?" Yasmin asked, appearing in front of us. "Here, take a look at this." Mabel said showing it to Yasmin. "Joshua, get the heck here right now." Yasmin said as she looked at the blueprints. "What is it?" Joshua asked. "What is this?" Yasmin asked showing it to Joshua. "A teleporter to an alternate universe." Joshua said. "I know that doofus. Why would they need it?" Yasmin asked. "They're planning to transport Georgia and her gang back to our universe." Joshua said.
