Chapter 8: Transfer darkness

Felix's Pov

I looked at my sister as if she was crazy. "Your joking right, right." I said hoping she was joking. "No. I'm the only one who can control powers of darkness and the only one who knows what it can do to a person. If that evil power stays in her body any longer, it will consume her and she'll probably stay that way." Eliza said then looked at Mike. "You wanted help right, this is the only way. All the other ways all end the same way." Eliza said. "Will it hurt her?" Mike asked. "No." Eliza said.

I couldn't believe that she was actually going through with this. "Tell me, how does this work?" Mike asked. "I have to use my powers to search for it and then transfer it over to me. It won't hurt her at all. I'll be the one who feels the pain. Make up your mind fast because I need to do this as quick as possible." Eliza said. "Can't someone else do this?" I asked. "No. I'm the only with the powers and the only one strong enough to do it." Eliza said. 

"I know what your powers can do to you but, if it is the only way." I said. "Hey bro, I'm gonna be fine." Eliza said. "Amanda, think it's a good idea?" Mike asked. "Well, it seems like our only choice. I don't know anything that can get rid of dark powers that bad." Amanda said. "So, what do ya say Mike?" Eliza asked. "We'll go through with it." Mike said. "Good, the faster we do this, the easier it will be. How long ago did this happen?" Eliza asked. "Two days ago, why?" Mike asked. 

"Because, it's easier to know as much as I can before doing this. Now, two days ago, right. How did it happen?" Eliza asked. "Kai had stepped on her arm a little too hard and then squeezed it so more pain would happen." Ash said. "No contact with any weapon?" Eliza asked. "Yeah, none. It was his own foot and hand." Ash said. "Show me the arm that was pained." Eliza said and Ash pointed at it. Eliza looked at the arm and saw something on it. "Here, his hand marks have been left. This means that it had something to do with his hand." Eliza said.

"Wow, she's smart." Ash said. "Anyways, this means that he had that dark power in his hands and sent them to Katie knowing what they were gonna do. This must mean that he was the only one who had it. This might be tougher than expected." Eliza said. "Well, she also used her water whip to tie them up." Ash said. "Hm, explains the little burn." Eliza said. "When Ash left Katie with me and when she woke up, she told me that when Ash and I were mind talking, her head had a ringing sound to it and then started hurting." Amanda said and Eliza gasped.

Gen's Pov

Eliza gasped and stepped back. "Oh no. This one is way more difficult than the other ones I have done." Eliza said. "You know, we can find another way to do it." Mike said. "No no no, it's okay. Okay, I'm gonna get it out of her now. Make sure no one distracts me." Eliza said. "Okay." Amanda said. Eliza put her hand on Katie's shoulder and everything went quiet. Then Eliza's bracelet turned white then back to black. Eliza still didn't get out of this and it seemed like a long process.

After a few minutes, about ten, Eliza had taken her hand off of Katie's shoulder. "There. It's complete. She should wake up soon. I'm gonna take a breather outside." Eliza said and went outside. She looked quite pale from the looks of it. I decided to go see what's wrong. We've known each other for a while, well, for a few years, so I would know if there was anything wrong with her. I walked outside and saw her sitting down with her head in her knees as if she was crying, but she wasn't.

"Hey, everything okay?" I asked. "Yeah, not really. Everytime I'm near someone with dark powers or who have dark powers making them weak, there's always this voice that goes through my mind telling me to be evil and use my dark powers against everyone, like I used to." Eliza said. "Hey, but your good now. Just because you have dark powers doesn't mean that you are bad. Anything can be used for good or used for bad. It just depends on the person." I said. "Yeah, but the person with bad anger issues doesn't really help." Eliza said as a black flame appeared in her hand.

"Well, I didn't know you could do that." I said. "Yeah, it kind of comes with the dark powers." Eliza said. "Anyways, I know that you are strong enough to get through this." I said. "Yeah." Eliza said and her black flame disappeared. Eliza got up and started walking. "Where you going?" I asked. "Going for a walk." Eliza said. "I'll join you." I said and got up as well. We walked through the woods for a while. We didn't really make much conversation but as we walked, Eliza seemed to calm down.

We kept walking until we reached a clearing. "Well, we should get back." I said. "Yeah, Katie should have woken up by now. Let's go." Eliza said and started walking back. I knew there was something wrong with her. As we walked back, I saw her bracelet change colours rapidly. Eliza wasn't one to wear jewelry but this bracelet was really important because it helps her keep her powers under control. But when it does this, there is definitely something wrong. As we kept walking, Eliza started to look more pale. We almost got to the base when Eliza blacked out. "Great." I said and picked her up. I looked at her bracelet and saw that it was pure white.

Ash's Pov
Katie had woken up and I was talking to her. "So, my brother was worried?" Katie asked. "Yeah, it was the first time I've seen him worried and he was really worried." I said. "Yeahx well, we kind of only got each other, and our older brother but he's busy at work." Katie said. I was about to say something when Gen came in and put Eliza on a couch. "What happened?" I asked. "The evil she's got inside her body is too much for her to handle." Gen said.

Amanda Felix and Tora came in. "What happened?" Felix asked. "She's having trouble controlling too much things at once." Gen said. "How is her bracelet white? It was black before." Tora stated. "Her bracelet is the only way to know if she's strong or weak, or if her dark side is controlling her. Since it's pure white right now, it means she's weak and getting weaker." Gen said. "How bad?" Felix asked. "It isn't that bad so she should wake up soon but she'll have issues controlling her powers again." Gen said.

Eliza woke up a couple minutes later but as she woke up, black flames appeared in her hair. "Uh, Eliza." Tora said, pointing to Eliza's hair. "Yeah yeah, I know, I gotta control my powers." Eliza said. "Want some help?" Gen asked. "No, I'm fine." Eliza said. "No your not. Your dark powers are outta control, you need help." Gen said. "No, I don't." Eliza said and her hands had black flames with it. "Calm down Eliza. Your powers will go more wild." Gen said. "DON'T. TELL. ME. WHAT. TO. DO." Eliza shouted and trapped Gen in a wall of flames.

I stepped back. "Woah, she's a little mad." I said. "What's going on here?" Yasmin asked as she stepped into the room. "Oh, uh, we could use your help. Eliza seems to be going out of control." I said. "Hey Eliza. Let's go outside." Yasmin said. "You're not the boss of me but sure." Eliza said, walking outside. "Here, a little help." Yasmin said and the fire wall died down. Yasmin walked outside and then she walked back inside. "Welp, none of us will be able to talk to her for a while." Yasmin said.

"Why do you say that?" Felix asked. "Might wanna take a check outside." Yasmin said. We all checked outside and saw Eliza sitting on the floor with her black flame walls surrounding her. This kind of made me not like my name anymore. "Well, this might not be as easy as it should be." Felix said. "Ya think." Yasmin said as she was sitting on the couch now. "That ain't normal for any form of powers." Katie said. "So, you got any plans?" Felix said. "Well, as the little saying goes. Always fight fire with fire." Yasmin said as a black flame of hers appeared in her hand.
