Chapter 35: Fighting for the right thing

Theo's Pov
I was fighting Tina with Jae who was fighting Jasper. As we fought, I reached behind me and grabbed a smoke bomb. I didnt need to escape but I did disable one of my arms. I threw it and Jae approached me. "What did you do?" Jae asked.

"My arm, I can't use it." I said. I then saw a figure approach me from above and knock me down. "That's a good thing." Tina said and trapped me down. She had on combat boots and stomped on my arm that was disabled.

I screamed out in pain. I think she broke it but I didnt care. This girl was strong. I saw Jae look this way and she knocked Tina away from me. I couldn't move my arm. I saw Jae fight off Tina and Jasper. I then saw Amanda approach me.

"Hey." I said. "Your arm is pushed out of place. I need to push it back into place." Amanda said. "Okay, fine." I said. Amanda kneeled down next to me and grabbed my arm. She pushed it and I screamed in pain. She pushed it back into place and wrapped my arm up.

I now couldn't use my arm. "Dont use your arm. You'll put way too much strain onto it." Amanda said. I nodded. She helped me up and I bit my lip from screaming. It hurt way more than I hoped it would. She walked away and I summoned my weapon.

I held it into my other hand. I tried fighting but I couldn't. My arm that I was using to fight, I never practiced with it. "Do you now regret not training with both arms?" Jae asked. "Yeah. Looks like I did end up disabling my fighting arm." I said.

I kept fighting, poorly, but I couldn't stop. Stopping was a sign of weakness and I couldn't do that. I knew I couldn't stop. I was always trying to never be weak, I don't know why. I saw Tina aim to hit my injured arm and I wasn't quick enough to block it.

Pain rushed into my arm and I winced. Jae knocked Tina out and shoved Jasper off the building. "You okay?" Jae asked. "No." I said. I saw Jasper run up the building and about to attack Jae before I blocked it with my injured arm.

I closed my eyes and summoned my weapon again. My spear/axe had appeared and I hit Jasper. I kept hitting him with my weapon and I grabbed some metal. I trapped him with it as he got closer to the edge.

"Sayonara." I said. I pushed him off and walked away. I saw Jae run up to him though and grab his hand. "What are you doing?" I asked. "I'm good. I'm not bad." Jae said and pulled Jasper up. "So why're you saving them? They're the bad guys. The enemies." I stated.

"And if we kill them then what does that make us. If we do kill them then what difference does it make. We are good and they are the enemies but we are not murderers. We never were murderers and this isn't much different." Jae snapped.

"But its an easier way to get rid of them. I was always told that weak people die." I said. "Well thats not right. I've been trying to get you to change your mind about everything. But you never listen. Maybe you are as cold as stone." Jae said.

Jasper looked at Jae and I saw his eyes look at her with sympathy. "Jasper, I know that look. Ugh, fine. But, Georgia isn't going to be very happy that we turned good." Tina said. "Thanks Tina." Jasper said.

I sighed. "Look, Jae, I'm sorry. I, I've just been different." I said. "I know that. And now, you can help us out." Jae said. "Sure." I said. I smiled at her and Tina helped Jasper out of the metal barrier I put him in.

Jae's Pov
I looked around and saw Georgia's team all stand down. They stopped fighting my team. And I smiled. I knew they were all turning good. We faced Yuri's team. "Well, let's end this today." I said. I knew this battle was going to be long.

But I didnt care. As long as I had a team to fight with and a will to get through this, I know that my team can win. And with the extra enforcements, we should be able to win. At least I hoped. Jasper and I went to go help Jocelyn and Joseph out with their fight.

Each opposite team, kind of, went to help out with a fight. Tina and Theo went to help Roman and Kewei's fight. Celia and Cedric went to help Ceylan and Christine. Roberto and Roberta went to help Rick and Jewel. Matthew and Madeline helped out Toxsa and Maddison.

Nick and Nicolette helped Nathan and Rose. Blake and Blaine helped out Blaze and Nikki. Stephanie and Stephen helped out Victor and Samantha. Jake and Jacqueline helped Jack and Sasha. Marth and Mabel helped Mark and Isabelle.

Jason and Jacey helped Jeremiah and Mina. James and Jamie helped Joshua and Kaycee. Georgia, George, Becka, Benedict, Elizabeth and Elbert helped heal everyone who needed help. So we all were basically helping someone.

"Wait, this doesn't make sense. If you guys turned good, then wouldn't we turn evil?" I asked. "Not really. Its really your choice." Jasper said. "Opposite dimensions stuff is really confusing." I said. "Yeah, trust me, I didnt understand it either." Jasper said.

"So, how did you end up here?" I asked. "We were attacking the Corekai. And then this thing appeared and a weird light was shown. And we got thrown in front of their base. Thats really how we got here. Not that interesting." Jasper said as we hit Joe.

Jocelyn and Joseph were fighting Josephine. It should be easy since it was two against one but this guy was strong. Must of underestimated him when I first saw him. I blocked an attack from hitting Jasper as he knocked Joe back.
