Real Chapter 34: Fight

Wakemai's Pov
I looked towards Yuri and Yasmin and saw that he had grabbed a hold of Yasmin's corebrick. I could tell he was going to either destroy it or take away her powers.

Well, my first theory was correct. He did destroy it but Yasmin's weapons remained. So that means her powers remained. But how. I saw her reach behind her head and grab something. She showed it to Yuri and since I was closer, I could see it.

It was her corebrick. So he grabbed a fake. "You might still have your powers but I have your comrade. Chooki, destroy her." Yuri said. I saw rage firing through his eyes. And it seemed as if he enjoyed others pain.

I watched as Chooki fought Yasmin without any control over his body. I looked at Wallace as he tried to hit me with his spear. I blocked it and hit him with my spear. "You can block a sneak attack." Wallace said. "Not really a sneak attack." I mentioned.

We fought and tried knocking each other back. But we were both matched. We were both equally skilled. But then he hit my shoulder with his spear. I felt pain rush through my arm. But what was worse now was it was harder to use.

I switched the spear into my other arm and used it to fight. I knocked him back and trapped a rock cave over him. I fell down and touched my arm. I hissed from pain and tried to stand up. 'Hey Amanda, could you go help Wakemai, she looks like she's in pain.' Toxsa thought.

'Sure.' Amanda thought. 'I'm fine.' I thought. 'I can see you from here. You have a huge gash on your shoulder.' Rick thought. I saw Amanda appear and she looked at Wallace then at my shoulder. "Your lucky that this hasn't gotten worse. From what I could tell, you could have strained it really badly." Amanda said.

She fixed up my shoulder. "Thanks." I said. "Dont push it. There's enough people getting hurt right now and its hard to help them all. So I don't need to know that your shoulder got worse." Amanda said. "I'll try not to." I said.

She hopped off the building I was on and landed on the ground. She ran to someone else who needed help. I went to the rock cave Wallace was in and I sat in front of it. "Sorry bout your shoulder." Wallace said. "It should heal." I said.

"So, what's the deal?" Wallace asked. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Why you decide to help them out?" Wallace asked. "I just wanted to make sure my brother was safe. How bout you. Why you bad?" I asked.

"Topaz started fighting so I just joined. Didn't really have a choice to leave after then." Wallace said. "You are your own person. You dont need a leader." I said. "You dont know why Yuri is trying to leave this dimension, do you?" Wallace asked.

"No." I said. "When Yuri destroyed this city and everyone figured out about Quarton, the guardians told us something. They told us that we weren't allowed to leave this world, dimension, universe or city. So we all got stuck here." Wallace said.

"So if he can't leave then why is he trying to get to the our universe?" I asked. "Because he found something. He found a power that could get him to leave. To leave this place. To leave this world. To redo what he's done." Wallace said.

"Why is he trying to leave?" I asked. "He needs energy to live. Fear and power is the energy. And this place doesn't have it. So he has a higher chance of dying without it. And the fire of hatred in his eyes just make it worse." Wallace said.

"So, he needs fear for energy to survive?" I asked. "Yeah." Wallace said. "Wow, thats interesting news." I said. I looked at Yuri and Yasmin and saw rage in Yuri's eyes. This wasn't going to end well.

Vincent's Pov
I was fighting with Annie until she blocked them off. "Hey Vincent. Check on Yuri and Yasmin's fight." Annie said. "Okay." I said. My weapons disappeared and I started to relax. I then opened my eyes. I could see through Yasmin's eyes.

This was my power. I could see what someone was doing through their eyes. I saw Yasmin block an attack from Chooki. I just remembered that Yuri had control over him. I watched as Charlotte attacked Yasmin.

Yasmin seemed to weaken down though. Yasmin pushed Charlotte behind her. She jumped and pushed her further than trapped her in a metal cage. "This is getting tiring." I heard Yasmin say.

I saw Yasmin look just in time as Yuri's sword came in contact with her leg. He removed it and Yasmin looked at her leg. She had this huge gash on it. I saw Yuri get Chooki to do something.

Chooki's chainsaber went flying and hit just below Yasmin's eye. I'm pretty sure there was going to be a scar there. Yasmin pushed Chooki back and wiped some of the blood off. Then Yuri jumped and lifted his sword.

That's when the connection was terminated. I opened my eyes and looked at Annie. "She's been hurt badly." I said as I looked around.

"How bad?" Annie asked. "Yuri's hit her badly on her leg and before the connection was terminated, Yuri lifted his sword." I said.

"She's gonna get herself hurt badly." Annie said. "Yeah." I said. I looked at Violet and Andre and saw that Annie had trapped them in a metal barrier. "I have a feeling that this isn't gonna end well." I said.

"Yeah. Everyone's badly injured too." Annie said. I looked at the cuts on my hands and arms and sighed. "Yeah. And this isn't making it any easier." I said. "We are going to have to deal with it." Annie said.

"But I can't." I said. "I know." Annie said. "No. I can't hurt people. Its not in my nature to do." I said. "Vincent. Calm down." Annie said. "Annie. What would happen if we had to kill someone?" I asked.

"We won't." Annie said. "But what if someone dies?" I asked. "Look at me. None of that is going to happen. I can tell. So stop freaking out and see the bigger picture." Annie said. "Thanks Annie." I said. Annie just looked away.
