Chapter 24: Captives saved

Ruby's Pov

Over the past few days, we have been preparing to get our friends back. It was the middle of the night and I was up cause I couldn't sleep so I went outside to, well, kinda cool down from the night.

So I did. And there was someone there. 

I got outside and saw Yasmin with her head in her hands, muttering a bunch of things. "Hey, what's up?" I asked. "Nothing." Yasmin said but didn't look up. I could tell something was wrong.

"What's wrong." I asked her as I sat next to her. She didn't talk and I heard her say something about not killing someone. "Yasmin, I can hear you. Tell me what's wrong." I said.

"I didn't know what's wrong but, the guys who got captured. I don't think they're gonna make it out alive. I feel as if they're gonna die there." Yasmin said.

"How would you know this?" I asked. "I've been having these dreams lately of how they are and it's getting worse. I have to go help them." Yasmin said. "You heard Joshua." I said.

"I know." Yasmin said. "So, what are you gonna do?" I asked. "I don't know. I know I have to help them but I don't want to question my brother." Yasmin said.

"So, do what you feel is best." I suggested. "But, that's just it, I don't know what is best right now. I'm normally used to acting immediately not having to wait a while." Yasmin said.

"So, then take charge." I said. "I can't this time. I have to wait it out because I know Joshua is right." Yasmin said. 

"So, that's what you think is right." I said. She didn't answer her. I looked towards her and saw that she might not talk for a while. I looked outside towards the bad guy's base.

"Hey, I'm going inside, okay." I said but received no answer. I walked back inside and saw that Joshua was awake. "We're gonna need to save them soon." I said.

"I know, we're gonna do it soon." Joshua said. "You need it sooner. She might just go crazy if she's worried about all of them. She's been having dreams about how they're doing." I said.

"I know preparing isn't ever her kind of thing, but sometimes, we have to prepare. This time, I didn't want anyone else to be caught." Joshua said.

"Okay." I said. Then I heard a crash from outside. "What was that?" Joshua asked. We ran outside and saw what the whole commotion was.

Grace's Pov

I was told by Yuri to go to the laboratory in the forest near the back. He said that Andrew and I were to guard the prisoners. I got there and saw Andrew getting Amanda out of her field bubble.

"What are you doing?" I asked. "Sorry. But, they're gonna kill them and I don't think thats so good." Andrew said. "I knew you had a soft heart. Here, I'll help." I said.

I helped him get the others out of their field bubbles. "Why are you helping us?" Alexia asked. "Do you seriously want to rot in this and die because of them." Andrew said as everyone was out.

"No." Isabelle said. "Then just follow us." I said. We got out of the laboratory and went to a secret underground tunnel that me, Joanna and Andrew knew about. We went through it.

We then heard a bang. "What the heck." Alexia said. We got to the goodies base and saw that Yasmin didn't seem normal. "Not again." Amanda said.

"How did she get evil again?" Chooki asked. We're gonna leave." I said. Andrew and I got back to our own base and went to the back of it.

We walked to the front and saw all of our own guys walking out. "What's going on." Kai asked. "Dunno." Miki said. We were all out and Yuri looked at what happened.

"Looks like she's gone evil again." Yuri said. We went to the scene and saw Yasmin messing up a bunch of things. "That's it, just mess stuff up." Yuri said.

Yasmin then looked at him. She had her dark shadow powers and grabbed half of us. I somehow avoided it. "What the hell is going on?" Janessa asked. Yasmin then smirked.

"You wanna know?" Yasmin asked. "I don't like this." Beni said. All the goodies had just joined us outside. "Well, you know your useless, friend, Yasmin. She had lost control." Yasmin said.

"I don't think she will be able to survive having her dark powers take over. It might just kill her." Eliza said. "Wait, kill her." Joshua said, surprised. 

"Yeah. Her body isn't used to having her dark powers controlling her so, if this goes on, it could kill her. She's basically a puppet at this point." Eliza said.

"Can you help them?" I asked. "Why would we help you?" Ceylan asked. "Her and Andrew helped get us out so, I'm helping them." Nightmare said.

He went and hit the shadow arms and they dropped the others. They all left away from her. "So, what do we do, how can we save her?" Guren asked.

"You can't. I'm in control and if you try to even hurt me, you'll hurt your beloved friend." Yasmin said. "If you keep doing this, you'll kill you both." Ash said.

"Nope. I'm, like a disease. I can transfer myself to other people. So, really, I don't care who I kill as long as I stay in power and take over every dimension." Yasmin said. 

"Why in the heck of a world would this happen. Did you guys do this?" Blaze asked. "No." Andrew said. "If it's a fight she wants, its a fight she'll get." Phoenix said.

"Okay, just don't harm either of them." Guren said. "For once. I am agreeing with the goodies. We might want to team up to defeat her." Andrew said.

"Are you kidding me. Work with them." Yuri said. "Just til we get this whole mess fixed up. Then we can go back to fighting them again. Okay." I said.

"Fine." Yuri said. We all got out our weapons and attacked Yasmin. I seriously hoped that this mess would be fixed.
