Chapter Eleven

"Thanks for the barbeque, (Name)!" Mayu thanked you, biting into her meat-on-a-stick.

"No problem. A promise is a promise though." You smiled, paying for the barbeque.

"By the way, why'd you ditch us?" Mayu asked.

"I didn't ditch you! I forgot my textbook back in my classroom."

"You totally ditched us! Right, Chichi?"

"Noh she didn'ff." Chichi replied, her mouth full of meat.

"Don't eat with your mouth full..." You and Mayu said in unison.

The three of you walked home together, but it was quite unusual for your friends. You rarely go home with them because the three of you lived far apart from each other.

"Oh, this is my stop. My house is this way. See you tomorrow, guys." You stated, waving at your friends.

"Bye, (Name)!" Chichi waved as well.

"See ya, you shit!" Mayu shouted.

"No, I'll see you, you lil shit!"

"I know a shit when I see o-"

"Mayu!"

"Coming, Chichi! We'll continue this tomorrow."

"Tomorrow it is, shitface."

"Touché, (Name). Bye!"

You smiled and went home.

"I'm home, mom." You said, removing your shoes.

"(Name), you're home. How was school?" Your mom asked, holding up a few papers.

"Eh, same as usual."

"Aww, at least it wasn't a bad day. Anyway, I'm working a double shift and I'll be back tomorrow afternoon. My coworker is sick and j have to fill in." Your mom sighed, picking up her bag and walking to the shoe rack. "There's pasta in the fridge, just heat it up, okay? I love you!"

"Ok mom. I love you too. Bye."

With that your mom left, leaving you alone in the house.

After dressing up, you went to the kitchen to heat up the pasta. After that you sat on the couch, eating your hot pasta. You reminisced your day.

   

Tears filled your eyes as you remembered something.

   

These tears fell and you could no longer eat your pasta happily.
