9:20pm

"Practice is over! Make sure to get plenty of rest!" Daichi announced. Everyone yawned and stretched, and went to get their stuff and prepare to go home. Hinata approached Kageyama, who was drinking the milk Mayumi has given him with delight.

"What's it like to have a girlfriend, Kageyama?!" The short boy asked.

"Hah? Who the hell told you I had one?"

"Ehh?! The girl who gave you that!" He pointed at the bottle of milk.

"Dumbass! S-she just... She um..." He stammered. "S-she's Mayumi-san... From class 1-3."

"Uwoooh! Do you like her?! Because I think she likes you!"

"Shut up you idiot! Dumbass, Hinata!"

From afar, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi snickered and laughed at the two. The blonde grabbed his bag and went to the bench to find you sleeping, your head resting on your bag and your entire body occupying the space.

"I told her to go home already." He muttered.

"Buuuut she waited, still. She really wanted do go home with you, I guess." Yamaguchi mumbled, tilting his head.

Tsukishima tried waking you up, but you didn't wake up at all. You slept soundly and snored lightly. Sighing, he asked his freckled friend for help.

Tsukishima carried you on his back, your head resting on the crook of his neck and your arms loosely draped over his shoulders. Yamaguchi carried your bag. They then saw Yachi running towards them, exclaiming she left her bag. After grabbing it, Yamaguchi got the chance to ask her something.

"Ya-Yachi-san! W-would you l-like to, um... Go h-home with us..?" He stuttered.

"Ehh? U-um... Sur-"

"Yachi-saaaan!!! Let's go home together!" Shouted the orange haired boy, cutting the girl off. "Daichi-san might treat us pork buns!!"

"I-I'll be there in a minute! Gomen, Yamaguchi-kun..." She bowed, frowning.

"M-maybe some other time?"

"De-definitely!" She replied, blushing.

As she left, the freckled boy sighed.

"Hinata beat me to it..." He sighed again.

Tsukishima side eyed him, opening his mouth to speak. But he was cut off when you moved and strangled him with your arms by accident. Yamaguchi widened his eyes in surprise when the blonde let go of your legs and dropped you, but your arms, still wrapped around his neck, pulled him down with you.

You woke up to the sound of coughing.

You then realized Tsukishima was sitting on the floor in from of you, holding his neck with one hand. He kept coughing.

Worried, both you and Yamaguchi approached the coughing megane.

"Tsukki, are you okay?!" He exclaimed, a hand on his shoulder.

You did the same as well, but as he felt another hand on his other shoulder, he slapped it away.

"I told you to go home already, didn't I?" He said, irritation in his voice.

"I-I'm..." You started, but Yamaguchi spoke.

"Tsukki, it's been more than a week since the three of us went home together. She just wanted to go home with you..." He

You stared at the freckled boy, furrowing your eyebrows.

"R-right. Sorry. Let's go home."

"I never knew pork buns were this good!" Yachi exclaimed, munching into a bun the orange haired boy had given her. The megane and the freckled boy who were with you were also eating a pork bun, the blonde sharing his bun.

You noticed Yamaguchi staring at Yachi's direction, his eyebrows slightly furrowed.

You cleared your throat.

"Ehem, someone is jealous. Ehem." You said, faking coughs.

"E-eh?"

"You've been staring at her."

"I-I haven't..."

"Yamaguchi, you don't need to worry that much, okay? I'll be here to help!" You stated, grinning. The freckled boy smiled, and thanked you. You three went home after a while, and parted ways, as usual.

But what was unusual was Tsukishima was quiet.

He was always the quiet type, but this silence was making you feel quite uneasy and nervous. Why?

He was quiet, all right. Too quiet.

"Ehh, Tsukki... Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." He said blankly, not even looking at you.

"You don't seem fine..." You blurted out.

He clicked his tongue.

You frowned, and you both walked in silence.

The moment you were in front of your house, he bowed and left.

No "Good night",

No kiss,

No " I'll see you tomorrow",

Nothing. He just left.
