Chapter 18

In the middle of the practice match between Karasuno and Nekoma, your friends got hungry. You offered them the food you brought,  but they refused.

"You sure you don't want these?" You asked.

"No thanks! Besides, they might be for your boyfriend." Chichi teased, smirking.

"You do know he rejected me, right?" You replied, frowning a bit.

"Oh yeah. My bad. Sorry."

"What do you have in there, (Name)?" Mayu asked you, seemingly interested.

"H-here..."

You took out a huge-ass paper bag that filled more than half of your bag.

"Muffins mom made me, cookies, biscuits, three bottles of water, ham sandwich, cheese sandwich, chicken sandwich, some I-don't-know-what-flavor-this-is cake, packed onigiri-"

"Are you a fucking food vendor or something?! That's too much to bring, even for me!"

"-and milk bread..."

"Oh my god."

"Oooh, milk bread, may I?" Chichi asked. You gave her some and she ate it with delight.

"Why don't you give those to the volleyball players? That's too much! Seriously."

"I was thinking about that too."

"THEN DO IT!"

You sighed. "Fine, fine."

The three of you continued watching the practice match, ending a set with the orange haired wing spiker's amazing spikes. As Hinata's teammates happily cheered, your friend Mayu couldn't help but notice a small smile on Kageyama's face.

"Oh my god I think I need to go out to get some air." She stated randomly, blushing.

"What? Are you okay?" You asked.

"Kageyama... He fucking smiled."

"Mayu ouf my goff." Chichi replied, her mouth full of milk bread.

You laughed a bit and noticed that the volleyball players were taking a break.

"I'm going down to give 'em some o' deez, 'kay?"

The two nodded, and ran down the stairs.

"Heyo! Amazing match!" You stated happily, the paper bag in hand.

"(Name)-san!!"

"(Last name)-san."

"(Name)!"

You chuckled. "I uh... kinda packed a lil' too much. Anyone want food?"

Hinata, Kageyama, Tanaka and Nishinoya ran to you, eyes filled with excitement. You made them choose what they want, then to the second and third years, then to your friends.

"(Name)! I thought you and Tsukki wouldn't make it. You both missed the bus!"

"I kinda-"

"I woke up late, sorry." Tsukishima interrupted.

Everyone looked at you three.

Tsukishima? Apologizing?!

Daichi and Sugawara approached the tall blonde and slapped his back.

"Well, at least you made it!" Daichi cheered.

"The team isn't complete without you, Tsukishima!" Sugawara exclaimed.

Tsukishima stared at them with a blank expression and just drank from his water bottle.

"Ne, Kuroo-san. Is that girl a manager? The one with (hair color) hair?" A player from Nekoma, asked a tall male with somewhat bedhead hair. One eye was covered because of his hair.

"She doesn't seem like one, but she is pretty..." He replied, looking at you. He got curious and approached you, who was standing next to the bench of towels and water bottles.

"Uh, hi. You from here?" He asked ever-so-smoothly, just a few feet near you.

"Hi. No, I'm with the team. I'm friends with them."

"Oh! Well, enjoyed the match?"

"Absolutely! Great match! Oh, want an onigiri or something? there are two left. I kinda brought food and it turns out I brought a little too much, hehe."

"Y-yas! I mean, yes, please."

You gave him an onigiri and he smiled.

"I'm Kuroo Tetsurou, you are..?"

"(Last name) (First name). Nice to meet you, Kuroo-san."

"Nice to meet you too, (Last name)-san! Thanks for the food!"

And with that, he left and returned to his fellow teammates.

"So? How'd it go?" One of them asked.

"I think I have a crush on her... She's so pretty. Plus, I saw something I've never seen before..."

"This is why girls don't like you, Kuro-san," A boy with blonde hair and black roots stated, a game console in his hands. "You're creepy sometimes."

"T-they do  like me!! And I am NOT creepy! Anyway, she has two different colored eyes..." Kuroo finished, staring at you, who was chatting with the third years.

"How... Unique."
