Chapter 16

The night before your friends' practice match against another school, you packed yourself a bag of food, and a shirt just in case. Remembering that the tall, salty blonde Tsukishima will be fetching you the next morning, you prepared yourself for a mouthful.

That jerk thinks I can't move on. I never should've liked you in the first place.

You placed your bag near your bed and changed into your sleeping clothes. You jumped on your bed and contacted both your friends Chichi and Mayu.

"Hello?"  They answered at the same time, startling you.

"Chichi. Mayu. I..." you started. "I need to tell you something."

"OMG I think I know what this is already." Mayu said.

"(Name)  please tell me you did something good." Chichi replied.

"I... I confessed to Tsukki."

And with that, they screamed into the phone. At. The same. Time.

Okay I'm deaf now-

"(NAME) OH MY GOD IT'S ABOUT FUCKING TIME!"

"i'M SO PROUD OF YOU PLEASE TELL US WHAT DID HE SAY?!"

"G-guys..."

"Mayu!  A SHIPPING NAME?! WHAT WOULD IT BE?!"

"CHICHI I DON'T KNOW!!! BUT I DO KNOW THAT (NAME) FINALLY CONFESSED!!!"

"HE REJECTED ME!!!" You shouted. They fell silent, and you were on the verge of tears.

"W-wh... What?"

"(Name)... He rejected you?!"

You sighed deeply.

"Yeah. I'm going somewhere tomorrow with him and Yamaguchi; I'm gonna go watch their practice match against Nekoma..."

"(Name)... Oh my god are you okay?"

"I don't know." You said, tears already falling.

"Listen up woman, me and Mayu will follow you to Nekoma. Is it in the Miyagi prefecture?"

"I think so... B-but I don't think you're allowed to follow me though, Yamaguchi said-"

"I have a cousin who goes to Nekoma,"  Mayu interrupted. "We'll go there in secret! We promise."

You smiled. "Thank you, guys. I'm lucky to have you guys by my side." You thanked them, wiping your tears.

You heard a chuckle, a giggle, then an over-exaggerated laugh, which made you laugh too. You talked to them a bit more, and slowly lost track of time; you felt like talking to your friends made your problems go away for a while.

Beep beep beep beep beep beep

The sound of the alarm echoed throughout your bedroom. You hit the snooze button, and drifted back to sleep.

Then the sound of a doorbell was heard.

You didn't want to get up so you didn't answer the door.

Moments later, you heard the faint sound of footsteps walk around the hallway of the house; then up the stairs, then in front of your room.

"Mom just 5 more minutes..." 

"Funny, because I'm 5 minutes late already for the meet-up at school."

Your eyes opened.

"Tsu-Tsukki?! What the-?!"

"Get up, get ready. I'm late."

"Oh god, what time is it?!" You sat up, your hair a big mess. You even heard the blonde chuckle. You looked at the clock and it was almost time to leave. He was late.

"Oh my god I'm sorry! I wasn't able to sleep properly last night and-"

"I woke up late too. Hurry up, I'll give you 20 minutes. We can make it."

You were surprised by the sudden act of kindness from someone so cold and mean, but you thanked him anyway and you dashed down to take a bath. He stayed in the living room and listened to music while waiting.

15 minutes later, you were dressed up in some jeans, your regular rubber shoes and your favorite shirt, and your hair wasn't even fixed yet, so your now-short bangs are sort of covering your different-colored eye. But you were ready to go.

"Tsukki, let's go."

No reply.

"Tsukki... Tsukishima. Tsukki! KEI!""

Still no reply. He probably can't hear you because he was still wearing his headphones. You sighed.

You removed his headphones and he turned his head to face you. "I thought you were late? Let's go!" You stated.

He took them back and you both headed out the door.

You both ran. Together.

You arrived at Karasuno, but the bus already left.

"Shit." Tsukishima mumbled under his breath.

"T-there must be another way!"

"There is," he started. "But we'll have to take the train, and it's far from here. I don't want to run anymore. I won't be in the practice match, I gue-"

"You asshole! You rushed to my house, already late for the meet-up, you advised me to get ready in 20 minutes and I did! You're not gonna get left behind, jackass."

You grabbed his jacket and pulled him.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Getting you to that practice match you all practiced hard for. I don't want you to miss it just because of me. Now c'mon."

He raised an eyebrow, surprised at your reaction.

"Why are you like this to me?" He accidentally thought out loud.

You ignored the question and continued pulling him.

"Hey, answer me, Chibi-chan."

He was growing impatient.

"L-let's just get you to that practice match. Say no or stop me from doing so and I'll crush you." You threatened.

"Ooh, scary." He said sarcastically.

I have so many ideas for this story, And I think I'll make it like 25-30 chapters long? Idk, it's unofficial. Imma make bonus chapters for Reader-chan's friends/my friends shreddingmisery and yatogurl lololol I don't want it to just be a happy ending for Tsukki bby an d Reader-chan, also for her friends. XD XD XD XD
