Chapter 30

Weeks after everything that happened, you were informed that the Karasuno volleyball team was to go against Aoba Johsai, a powerhouse school, if you remembered correctly. Your arm was in a cast, still healing from the competition, but you're able to do the things you always do, even if it's just one hand.

Yamaguchi and Tsukishima are going to have to practice the entire day for more than a week (including the weekends), so you wouldn't be able to spend much time with them. Aside that, you and your friends Chichi and Mayu are having a sleep over at your house.

Girl time, yo.

"(Name)!" You heard someone call you in the hallways after class.

"Ah, Yamaguchi! Aren't you supposed to be at practice right now?

"Yeah. We're sorry we couldn't go home with you... Again."

"Like I said, it's okay! I completely understand." You replied with a grin.

He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Oh, and another thing..." The freckled boy started. "I don't know if you already knew, but... We have a new manager."

"A new manager?"

Yamaguchi nodded. "She's next to our classroom... And she's really cute..."

You gasped.

"Aww, Yamaguchiiii! You jumped up and down, happy for your best friend.

"E-e-eh?! I-I just think she's c-cute!"

You squished his face with both hands.

"I will help you!"

"(Name)-"

"YOU ARE MY SON. I WILL HELP YOU."

"Wait, what..?"

You chuckled. "Nothing. Go forth, strawberry head!"

"Hey!"

"I'm joking!" You laughed. "Both of you text me, okay?"

He nodded and waved at you.

With a smile, you instantly dashed your way to Chichi and Mayu's classroom. You slammed the door open.

"AYE YO!" You shouted, catching everyone's attention.

"AAAAAYE!" Mayu replied, not even humiliated.

"SUUUUUP!" Chichi said, dancing her way to you. "Ya'll gonna be surprised with what I'm gonna tell you."

Mayu gasped. "Did Sugawara kiss you?" She asked, earning a jump from her.

"N-no! Well, not yet..." She blushed.

With your uninjured arm, you slapped her back. "You'll get there."

"Bitch, I'm older than you. And I have way more experience."

You and Mayu laughed, and headed out.

"Oh, wait, can we pass by the gym?" Chichi asked. You and Mayu shrugged, and went to the gym anyway.

You three arrived at the gym, seeing that everyone was just about to start practice. Hinata and Kageyama were practicing their freak combo, the third years were with the coach and adviser, the second years practicing serves, and Tsukishima and Yamaguchi on the bench, drinking water.

Chichi breathed in and went to the third years. From afar, you noticed that she was holding onto a small box wrapped in a handkerchief. Mayu clapped her hands excitedly.

"I'm so proud of her."

You snorted, earning a chuckle from your friend.

Chichi tapped on Sugawara's shoulder and kept what she was holding onto behind her back. You saw the silver haired setter grin and rub the back of his neck, and he was blushing.

You smacked Mayu in the arm, who was smiling like an idiot. You smiled widely as she gave the box to the setter.

 
But it gets better.

 
You and Mayu covered your mouths and muffled your screams as both of you saw Sugawara kiss Chichi. On the lips.

You started to jump up and down, while Mayu had a victory run around the gym.

The other members noticed the random things you and your friend were doing, but just decided to ignore it. In fact, the others found it hilarious. Tsukishima noticed you jumping like an idiot, and tried to hold in his laugh.

While doing her victory run, Mayu accidentally runs into the raven haired tsundere, making the two of them fall; Mayu on top of Kageyama. She laughed as Kageyama sat up, making the girl kneel. She didn't seem like she was finished with her fangirling, because you were surprised to see Mayu grab the tsundere's face and kiss him.

She pulled away and jumped off of him, continuing to do her victory run, leaving the tsundere dumbfounded.

THIS JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER!
