You yawned for the umpteenth time as you watched your old, dusty grandfather clock.

It’s only two more minutes before midnight. Two more minutes before a new day starts. But who’s counting the hours anyway?

You were stuck with a curse that could never be lifted. Well, it’s not like you want it to be lifted anyway.

Decades ago you, being the fearless child you were, tampered with a force that is not supposed to be reckoned with.

You found an old book with symbolic letterings on it and tried reading out a spell which caused the angering of a cacodemon.

As a result, you were cursed with ever youth.

At first it was hell for you, watching how the people you cared for and loved pass away one by one.

But as time went by, when you no longer have anyone to care for, you began enjoying the seclusion.

That is until you met him. Kuroko Tetsuya.

You bumped onto him in a busy street in Tokyo and immediately apologized to him.

The young man was surprised by your ability to detect his presence and took an instant liking to you.

You remembered your first date and you were creeped out by how expressionless he is.

“(Y/n)-san, tell me about yourself.” he asked as you both sat down in a fast food chain that seemed so out-of-this-world to you.

Who could blame you? You don’t get sick, you don’t grow old, you don’t weaken, and you don’t die. You need not eat.

You scratched your head awkwardly. You didn’t know what to tell him. Even if you did, surely he wouldn’t believe you.

The teal-head waited for your answer and you knew it was useless to lie to him. it would seem as though he could read your thoughts through your eyes.

“(Y/n)-san there’s no need to lie. I know you’re not as young as you look.” He said casually while playing with the straw of his vanilla milkshake.

You shot a look at him, “What do you mean?” you asked.

“I happen to get my hands on an old Teikou yearbook. And I saw you. Exact same name. Exact same face.” He started pulling out the book he was referring to.

“But it’s dated 85 years ago.” He said, opening the book to you and sure enough, your picture was there.

You heaved a sigh of surrender and decided to explain everything to him, from the very beginning of the story. And Kuroko believed everything you said.

”Are you a vampire?” he then asked after a long pause.

“No, duh. I’m still human.” You explained, to which he responded with a smile.

“If that is the case then it’s all good, (y/n)-san.” He stated before standing up and moving to your side.

He held your hand tightly and kissed the back of it gently, making you blush.

For an old person, you definitely are clueless in intricate things such as romance. You never actually had a boyfriend before.

“What do you think you are doing?” you asked, trying to pull your hand away to no avail.

Kuroko looked into your eyes and answered smoothly. “We can still do something. It’s not too late for you yet.”

With that you suddenly thought, does Kuroko know anything about the curse? Or the cacodemon that cursed you?
=========

I’m kinda enjoying being weird.
Well it’s not like I’m normal to begin with.

I actually smacked a cockroach with my bare hand and my brother saw it.

Nah, that was just… self-defense?

Good Evening my sweets.
