You were his admirer. Who wouldn't be? He's handsome, athletic, famous and bubbly. It would be an even bigger surprise if a girl didn't like him.
Well aside from his friends.

You've seen the pink-haired girl speaking to him more than once.

And it's annoying how she's so pretty and she looked smart. Who are you compared to her right?

All you can do is watch him from a distance, Kise Ryota.

You fell for him when he saved you from his falling down the stairs but he probably doesn't remember that. The two of you are classmates but not once has he ever looked you.

You went to the music room yet again. You always go there after classes. That's the only place that you can relax in inside Kaijou High.

Everywhere you went the situation is the same, just filled with bothersome squeals of fangirls. You can't have Kise without his fangirls anyway.

There in the music room, aggravating noise cannot get in, but beautiful melodic music can get out.

You sat on your usual seat in front of the piano and began playing canon in D major. Slowly pressing the tiles, feeling the music flow like stream, until it gradually grew faster.

You closed your eyes and smiled as your fingers danced with the piano tiles.

How you loved that music, your father said it was his and your mother's wedding music.

And even when you never met your mother, you could only imagine how happy they probably were judging by his smile.

It took a minute or two before the song ended. You gazed at the piano with a smile.

Perhaps that's the only way you would be able to express how much you love Kise.

Slowly you brushed your fingers on the tiles and began playing once again, this time the song was for the blonde male.

You played A thousand years in the piano as you sang along, meaning ever single word that came out of your lips.

Heart beats fast, colors and promises, how to be brave, how can I love when I'm afraid to fall?

But watching you stand alone, all of my doubts, suddenly goes away somehow. One step closer

I have died every day, waiting for you, darling don't be afraid I have loved you for a thousand years, I'll love you for a thousand more.

"Someday I'll be able to tell you 'I love you'." you said as you opened your eyes.

You stopped and smiled as you remembered how his hand felt on yours when he pulled you.

"I guess I should go now." You whispered. Grabbing your bag next to the piano, you stood up and prepared to leave.

You were shocked out of your wits when you saw who was standing by the door, listening to you play.

"H-Hi, (L/n)-chan!" he greeted with a radiant smile and you froze at where you stand. You knew he heard you.

"Kise-kun, what are you doing here?" you asked.

The blonde blushed, "I usually come here to hear you play. I think you're a great pianist. I didn't think you'd be finishing early."

You heart swelled because of his praise and you tugged on his sleeve and led him inside, closing the door.

"Do you want to learn, Kise-kun?" you asked letting him sit next to you.

"Really? You'd teach me?" he said happily but then frowned, "But I have practice today."

You looked down in defeat, just when you thought you can actually spend some time with him.

"That's too bad." You started, "Oh but I guess I can just send the music sheet and tell you which chord goes where!"

"No!" the blonde protested. Seeing you surprised, he cleared his throat, "It's not going to be easy. You have to teach me personally."

Seeing him so eager, all you could do was agree.

----

You tutored him for a few weeks, every time he has a day off from modelling and from basketball practice.

You were actually happy that he's spending time with you, with no one else around.

To you and Kise's luck, or bad luck, he was able to learn very quickly that left you with nothing else to teach him.

"Well, I have nothing left to teach you, Kise-kun." you began with a sad smile, "You can now explore and make your own music."

"B-But (Y/n)-cchi, there's still one more song you haven't thought me yet!" he exclaimed. "And that was the one I was waiting for you to teach me!"

You tilt your head in confusion. "Really? Which one?" you asked, glancing down at the piano in front of you.

Kise looked at the piano keys and began pressing the tiles one by one as he tried to recall the tune he heard you play.

You quickly recognized it, and you blushed "Why do you want to learn that song?" you asked him.

The blonde smiled widely, "I happened to find it interesting!" he lied.

Sighing, you faced the keys and taught him how to play the song, which he immediately learned.

"(Y/n)-cchi, I heard you say it's for the person you love." He said seriously. "Can I also use for the person I love too?" he asked.

You felt a twinge of pain in your heart when he uttered those words. You forced a smile and said sure.

"Great! Thanks!" the blonde said before leaving.

----

The next morning, Kise seemed to ignore you in class. He didn't even look at you. You were guessing he already confessed and now has a girlfriend.

After class, the blonde happily ran out and you did not bother running after him.

You decided to go to the music room to pour all your misery out but someone was already there.

Kise smiled at you before he began playing A thousand years and you listened. A few minutes later he finished.

"(Y/n)-cchi I know you probably love someone else. But, I still want to give it a try." He said shyly. He then stood up to approach you.

You stared at his figure, looking at him from head to toe because you're too shy to focus on his eyes.

The blonde held your hands tightly eyes fixated on your face. "I love you."

You couldn't believe it was true but you knew it was real. "A-Are you sure?" you asked.

He nodded and kissed your cheek, making your face explode in a deep blush. "Actually I dedicate that song for you too."

You whispered.
"I love you too."

This is too darn long.

I can write a whole book about Kise actually.

He's the member of GoM that I see as a protagonist of a bitter-sweet love story.

I just had an idea about writing a romance-horror. But I don't know the theme.
