So today, I'm going to be showing you how to make a pretty simple cover trick on Photoshop!

Step 1)

So imagine you have your beautiful cover ready, but it's lacking a little something. 

There's too much empty space around the model. So to fill out you want to add a stroke!

Step 2.)

Click the pen path tool, and slowly begin tracing around your model. It can be as messy or as neat as you like!

Once that's done, select shape from the menu above.

Then go to the shape tool, and make sure the fill is set on black, and the stroke is set on white.

Step 3.)

Now you can play around with the stroke options. you can make it wider or thinner, or even change the type of stroke. I chose the one that is divided into little bits.

Step 4.)

Once that's done, change the blend mode to screen.

This should be your final result:

Tada! A beautiful cover (not really though lol)!
