Vectors are increasing in popularity now, with one of the most popular authors and graphic designers - justlyd - using them for her covers.

I am slowly learning it myself, and I thought I would share with you.

For this I used PicsArt, although it looks better if you use Pixlr on your PC or laptop, however a lot of people on here don't have a laptop or computer, so I used my phone.

Step 1.

Open up your image - preferably a PNG, but it doesn't matter.

Scroll through the menu, until you find the draw option.

Click on it.

Step 2.

Click on the multicoloured rainbow thingy, and then select the ink dropper, which is in the top right.

Place it over the part of your PNG that you want to draw over, then select the paintbrush.

Step 3.

Begin to slowly paint over the target area.

You don't have to cover the whole thing - usually the face is fine, and I don't do the hair, because it looks betters without it

Step 4. (optional)

Save the image, and then open it up in Superimpose.

Add a light beam, and adjust the opacity.
