Max got out of the car first and I told Hannah to stay in the car with Molly while I talk to the officers.
"Hello ms lovato" one officer says
"Uh hi" I reply
"We are here to get hannah" he states
"Well you can't have her" I say
"Why is that?" He asks
"She doesn't want to go back like ever and I filed for full custody" I state
"Why doesn't she want to go back?" He asks
"Let me start with the fact that she never wanted to leave here in the first place. She was literally dragged out kicking and screaming. Anyway she wants to be in a stable living home and feel safe. She needs me" I explain
"Can I speak to her?" He asks
"Yeah hang on" I tell him
I walked over to the car and grabbed a sleeping Molly and Hannah got out of the car.
"Right now he just wants to talk to you" I tell her
"Okay" she says
We walked over to the officer and I took her hand.
"Hi Hannah" he smile
"Hi" she whispers
"Can you tell me why you don't want to live with your dad?" He asks
"Because he's a fucking dick who doesn't really care about how I feel or want okay I just want to live with my mom here who actually cares about me and makes sure I don't cut and doesn't fight. I just want to be happy and understood" Hannah started crying then ran inside
I ran after her telling the officer to come inside. I laid Molly down and ran into Hannah's room. The officer had followed me and I found Hannah in her bathroom with a blade to her wrist.
"Hannah don't do it everything will turn out okay I promise" I beg
"Demi help I don't want to do it but they won't shut up" she cries
I run in the bathroom and take the blade from her. I pulled her into a hug and sang skyscraper to her.
"You okay now?" I ask her
"For now" she replies
"I love you hannah" I tell her
"I love you more" she replies
I just hold her tight and don't let go. The officer clears his throat reminding us that he's there.
"I'm so sorry officer I honestly forgot about you" I apologize
"I'm glad you did it shows how much you care for her" he replies
"She and Molly are the most important people in my life and I can't lose either of them" I say
"Do you know when the court hearing is?" He asks
"Not yet" I reply
"Well she has to be with her father until then" the officer says
"NO NO NO I WONT GO BACK I WONT LISTEN TO THE NAME CALLING IM HAPPY HERE DONT MAKE ME LEAVE" Hannah screams and starts crying again
She tried to break free but I wouldn't let her. I sang my love is like a star to her again and she calmed down.
"I'm not leaving and you can't make me" she states
"I heard hannah crying what's going on?" Molly comes in and asks
