Santa's coming tonight! We're making cookies for him and maybe some for us. Aunt Maddie is coming over with grandma and grandpa and aunt dally too. Hannah's been in her room making presents all day, and I've been playing. Mommy said mom won't be here so that makes me sad. I wish they would stop fighting.
"Molly are your presents ready?" Hannah asks as she comes in my room
"Yep" I say
"Okay good" Hannah says "let's go put them under the tree"
"Okay" I say excitedly
Hannah and I grab our presents for everyone and bring them downstairs. I hopped down the stairs then hopped back up to get my crutches.
"when is everyone coming?" I ask
"Soon" Hannah tells me
"And moms still not coming?" I ask
"No baby I don't think we'll see her again for a really long time" Hannah explains
"Oh" I frown
"It's okay though we have mommy" Hannah reminds me
"Yeah mommy's awesome!" I say
"She sure is" Hannah laughs
As we're talking aunt Maddie walks in along with aunt dally and grandma and grandpa. I crutch up to maddie and hug her.
"Hi munchkin" she laughs
"Hi aunt maddie I missed you!" I say
"I missed you too" she says
"Where's my hug?" Aunt dally asks
"Here" I say and slowly make my way over
"Hi guys" mommy says as she walks in
"Mommy look how many presents there are!" I say excitedly as I point to a bag
"I see" she laughs
"Is dinner ready?" Hannah asks
"Just about" mommy says
"Yay I'm hungry" Hannah states
Everyone laughs then grandma and grandpa go help mommy in the kitchen. Aunt Maddie, Hannah, aunt dallas, and I put all the presents under the tree then go sit at the table. All the food is brought out and we make our plates. Well mommy makes mine.
"Are we making cookies after this?" Aunt maddie asks
"Yep" mommy says
"I'm making a big Christmas tree!" I exclaim
"How big?" Aunt Dally asks
"This big" I say and hold my arms out
"That's big" aunt dally laughs
Everyone finishes eating and the kitchen gets cleaned up.
"Is everyone helping with the cookies?" Mommy asks
"We have some last minute wrapping to do you guys go ahead" grandma says
"Alright" mommy says
Everyone but grandma and grandpa follow her into the kitchen. Aunt Dallas opens up the cookies while Hannah sprays down the pans. Aunt Maddie helps me sit in a chair and mommy gets cookie cutters.
"Mommy can I have a Christmas tree, snowman, and a star?" I ask
"I'm putting all of them in the middle for us to share" she says
"Okay" I say
We all grab a cookie cutter and start making our cookies. Once they're all shaped mommy carefully takes them and puts them on the pan.
"They'll be done in 20 minutes" she tells us as she puts them in the oven
"Can I go play?" I ask
"Yep" Demi says
I carefully get off the chair and crutch my way to the living room. Hannah and Aunt Maddie follow, we put scooby doo on TV. Before we know it the cookies are done and we can decorate them. I use each icing color on the cookies and make them look really pretty.
"I think Santa will love these" Demi exclaims
"I hope so!" I say
We put our cookies on a plate by the tree with a glass of milk. It's getting late now so we're all going to sleep so Santa will come.
